  1. Well, we'll see how trustworthy the seller is (you are quite new - I hope you understand a little trepidation) - I just sent him quite a lot of money. I'll be leaving feedback appropriately and if he comes through with this shipment I'll vouch for him.

Edit: Looks like I've potentially been had. I've been contacted via PM regarding a trade ElderScroll is setting up with another Eurobricks member for at least one of the same set(s) he sold me.

  2. Yahoo! Finally closed a deal for these guys. Series 1: Complete. Series 2: Complete. Series 3: Complete. Series 4: Complete. Series 5: Awaiting Arrival :classic:

80 minifigures in all! Fantastic! And with series 6, we already have 96 amazing figs. If this really goes until 8, we'll have 128! :cry_happy: I hope they keep up with the quality of the designs we already have seen, but if anyone can do that, it's Lego.

On the other hand, I think that I'll have to purchase yet another case for minifigures ($15 for a 130 minifigure capacity box, not that bad), which means yet more crazy taxes and shipping costs for a plastic case. My room has a serious case of minifigure overpopulation.

I still can't imagine how some people find ways to store literally thousands of minifigs.

I'm curious what case you use to store 130 figs? I'm assuming they are displayed?

  3. tried sending you a pm but its saying you cant receive any new messages?

I have a Guard and Gladiator.... need the fitness woman & snow boarder (S5)

Yeah, he hasn't responded to my latest pms either - I found two ice fishermen/Eskimo/Inuit, but he took them off his want list.

Do you still want those two Inuit RubeusHagrid? I also have six Royal Guards available.

  4. I hope so, for the purpose of getting one for the collection - but I'll bet there'll be two per box, at least initially. The Spartan, Elf, Dwarf and Zombie were all threes (I think).

Other than the weird screw-up in Europe with the Mad Scientist, there have been at least three of every minifig in each box. There will definitely be at least (probably only) three Romans per box.

  5. After seeing S6 (the Roman Soldier is default_wubnew.gif) I'm wanting to complete S5 ASAP so I can start saving default_laugh2.gif

    I need:

Royal Guards (UNLIMITED QUANTITIES - PRIORITY)

    Graduates (UNLIMITED QUANTITIES)

    Gladiator (1)

Detective (1 - Since this is so common, I would trade it on a ratio of 1:2 for Detective:My fig)

    Dwarf (2)

    Ice Fisherman (2)

    Also, on a related note

    Clown Pies

S1 Clown (and extra trumpets and hair)

S2 Singer, S3 Rapper and AQ Black + Gold/Silver Microphones

    Thanks

Are you offering to purchase these? I found a half dozen royal guards last night at Target, but didn't buy them. I could check tonight or tomorrow to see if they're still there. Otherwise, what are you offering to trade?

  6. I personally really like the road LEGO has taken with the Castle line. Focusing more on the villagers and peasants is just pure brilliant. I'd love to see a whole village and am very sorry I didn't buy the Midevel Market square set. Because it would go along great with the new mill and the old Blacksmith shop.

The Medieval Market Village is still for sale - there is nothing (other than lack of funds I suppose) stopping you from buying it!

  7. The Mall of America Lego store had no Series 5 left when I went yesterday. Last weekend there were several cases available (my brother in law and I watched them empty six boxes into bins last weekend). They still had Series 3 in one bin (found one elf) and Series 4 in several bins (found four vikings and a musketeer). I was only there for an hour though, so it's possible they added more stock later in the day.

  8. Hi All,

So anybody thinking of buying things from this thread i just want to let you know Edmonds Dantes is really really pleasant and easy to make a deal with. And I just recieved a trio of sets today from him and they were packed very well and are in very good condition. Probably the best deal i have ever made.

    Thank you Ramsey

    Charlie

Thanks Charlie! I'll point you towards this thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=40479&st=510

Edit: Nevermind, I see you left feedback even before the sets arrived. Thanks!

More updates to the first post, after another sale.

  9. I saw a topic like this in the Sci-fi forum for Alien Conquest and thought we could do the same here. Do you think that Kingdoms lives up to Castle expectations? I a Mod could add a poll that would be great. Credits to johnnyvgoode for the idea.

I was in my Dark Ages for the last few rounds of Castle, but other than Fantasy, it doesn't look like I missed much since the mid '90's. I would say Kingdoms DEFINITELY lived up to expectations, especially in two regards.

1.) The addition of peasant based, civilian sets.

2.) New, molded animals (goats, chickens, new pig, new horse, etc)
