Just going by eBay prices in the US, it seems the Mirkwood Elf is about $10 and the Elrond is going for $20, on average. Just to give you a heads up.
We already traded - two 30212's are on the way to him, mailed yesterday.
-
I have a sealed Elrond last alliance for trade. I would like as many 30212 mirkwood elves as I could get. I didnt want to trade this guy but I want the elves more. I would consider any reasonable trade. I only really collect LOTR and castle themes.
I also have 2 beta invites for chima mmo. I am not trading it but I am willing to give one to someone who really wants to play it. Message me.
Are you talking about 5000202 Elrond?
Do you happen to have two available? I'd trade five 30212 for two 5000202.

Adreva11, would you mind updating your initial post to reflect what's still available? Thanks.

This isn't Lego related, but definitely Star Wars related:

I haven't read most of this thread, so hopefully this isn't old news:

.Just picked up the 10179 for $500.
Nicely done! Used? Complete? New? Sealed? Where did you score that deal?

Not sure why I cannot send you any PMs, but do you still have these?

It's interesting - I never noticed before, but the sticker for the dark magic shop says Borgin and Burkes, when the actual name is Borgin and Burke (as you can see in the screen-cap).
-
I doughnut understand why you always type 'don't know' as 'doughnut'
Congrats MB on this. That Sandcrawler is awesome!
He's not not (lol) typing "don't know", he's typing "do not" as "doughnut". I think he's trying to be funny.

Well yeah, I really shouldn't force this. Since I am for sure the minority I just either skip the forum completely or try to filter out the few things I care for out of 1000 lotr posts.
f.e.: I almost missed Roman Temple because it got lost between the hobbits.
Enough from me now
Considering that MOC was posted near the end of January, approximately four months before the LoTR sets came out, your example is a major fail. Just sayin'...
-
Huh. Never heard of that, but makes sense. Learn something new everyday! Thanks
I posted this in a different thread with the crane, but here it is again. See the person inside?

No the Sun deal is only available in the UK but the polybag can be bought in Toys R Us I believe.
TRU has Frodo's cooking corner - I'm guessing Target will have the Uruk-hai.
-
Bilbo looks pretty good, I wwonder if we really are gettting that torso.
Of course we will. It wouldn't make sense otherwise.
Using that logic, I wonder if we'll get individual ears of corn pieces...
-
Those set names sound plausible enough. Time will tell I suppose but I definitely see a Balrog and Orthanc in our future and possibly an Ent too.
While certainly possible, I would base no speculation on that giant picture. Just look to the far right at all the Star Wars sets on the shelves - many of those don't actually exist. So, apply the same reasoning to the LoTR sets in the background...
Edit: In case people don't want to go back 10 pages: http://ow.ly/i/HJQX/original

So based on what we know about Bag End's price point and the cost of the LOTR line here is my speculation on the prices for each set:
Mystery of the ring $13
Mirkwood Spiders $30
Exclusive(Target?) $40
An Unexpected Gathering $60
Warg Attack $80
Gobblin King $120
Any thoughts?
Assuming the German prices are correct:
And all of a sudden there are prices mentioned on the german website...
Bag's End € 79,99
Mystery of the Ring € 12,99
Fleeing from the Mirkwood spiders € 29,99
Attack of the Warg € 59,99
Cave of the King € 99,99
Speculation or inside info?
the only problem I see with your speculations is the Warg Attack price. How can that be more expensive than Bag End if we know Bag End = $60/€80 and Warg = ??/€60.

I'll be at the Inside Tour May 24-26! I've been applying for ... almost a decade I think. Can't believe it's finally happening.
