EDIT: The pic was posted in another thread. thanks though Hey Bricks, thanks for the nice review. The first one I've seen so far. Anyway, if you have a chance can you take a picture of this set next to the 6211 Star Destroyer if you have it? I'm a little jealous that this isn't available in the US yet.

Nice review. Just one question for inquiring minds: How easily do the two vehicles clip together, then uncilp apart? If you were actually playing with the model, would it be a fast procedure for the LAAT to let go of the ATOT then fly away? Thanks.

Except that I have one of those big plastic car keys like this http://www.michaelhyde.com/v/vspfiles/files/08Chry03.jpg And the tiny little Yoda keychain. Makes me wonder who's protecting whom EDIT: As soon as I pushed "submit" I knew that someone would say this: So, there, I said it now before anyone else could

It shows up on amazon's UK site http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_?u...amp;x=0&y=0 So maybe it is.

Well, Star Wars is the only thing I know. For the best, I would go with the AT-TE. Much like the more recent Trade Federation MTT (the one that was released in 06? 07?), the Clone Wars AT-TE is a great improvement over the old one in the 4000s series. It's just a nice display piece, detailed, and comes with Rotta the Hutlet! Maybe it's just my obsession with Star Wars walkers though. :) For the worst, I would be tempted to say the Twilight. But, Im going to give LEGO a free pass. I thought the model is a very good representation of what's in the movie, but what's in the movie is terrible looking. So I'll say the worst is the Magnaguard Fighter. Did we ever see it in the movie or cartoon? Overall, it just feels bland and boring. The minifigs are cool, but '09's Count Dooku Solar Sailer now gives you two Magnaguards.

A great mystery that minifigure is. The hair makes it seem like it's from the original movie, but he shouldn't have a lightsaber? Maybe they just gave him one for the coolness factor. Can we get a ceremony Leia?

Nice job. How many bricks, if you counted?

Natman, Are you still looking for Clones? Which Obi-wan is it that you have?

About $1,500 (US), total for what I've bought and received as gifts.

Hello! I just signed up for these forums. I am an AFOL (though the "A" is in age only) from Ohio, USA. I collected a lot of the castle sets in the late '80s/early '90s. (I can write reviews for them if anyone would want to read reviews on 20-year-old sets :) ) Anyway, over the past couple of years I have gotten back into LEGO's Star Wars line. Look forward to being a part of the community.

haha. "Skyguy" just took a couple of "Snips" off of his old padawan. Yet she smiles through it all...what a sport.
