EB 2011 Windsor Event (2-5 June) - Hotel reservations
Aredhel replied to Superkalle's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Too sad I cannot meet you all to walk around in London etc :( I have to work til about 16h or 16.30h and then get to the plane and set off for Stansted. Will check out how to get to Heathrow from there that we can meet there to get to the B&B somehow ;-) Tks in advance to those who will collect me :-D -
EB 2011 Windsor Event (2-5 June) - Hotel reservations

Ohhh, pooooor Etzel!!! you will have sleepless nights ;-) I survived CopMikes snorring one night though, but 4 nights? Good luck ;-) -
Yes, that would be a nice idea then. And as I will drive back with the doc it would be better to be in the same hotel or B&B... All very complicated.

Hm, that sounds very difficult... I guess the hotel/Bed and Breakfast we went to 5 years ago is too small for us all right? I cannot remember exactly where it was but not that far to the park. ... What I have seen until now is all about 5 or 8 miles away :-S How many people come with the car and ferry?? Maybe then those some miles are really doable... -Dana

Well THIS was after 2 hours of traffic jam at the tunnel in Hamburg ;-)

Hello all!!! I rebuilt one of my older sets. This set is from 1983 and is named Holiday Home. First of all: An overview pic: You can see, that the house is build in a very easy way. The veranda has got a roller door. I have got one pic with the car you see in the following picture, but its to blurry to post now. Maybe I will add it when I have made a new one. The car is very cute *wub* and simple. Inside of it you can see a letter: The garden of the family contains a broil where the husband is cooking something. The woman sits at the table: The back view of the house shows the different rooms like sleeping room, dining room and kitchen: On the table in the dining room has to be a transparent minifig head, but this one was missing at my set, so I replaced it with a 1x1 Brick round trans orange. Hope you liked this little review. Comments welcome!!! Sorry if a few pics are a bit blurry; made them with my mobile phone camera! To see more pics, watch my gallery!!! Greetings, Aredhel

I am very sad to hear of his unexpected death. I, too, met him at the Event in Günzburg 2009 and he was a very nice guy. It is tragic to die at this age. My thoughts are with his family. Rest in Peace. - Dana

Thank you for this amazing Hogwarts Castle Review!!! I really love all the small details you brought into it and the positioning of all the figs etc. -Aredhel -
This is really really great work though it is pink :-P But this all fits to the scene and the "romantic" atmosphere! As was said before, this will be the great start of a diorama ;-) Cannot wait to see more! -Aredhel

Amaaaazing ones... Those look really really cool :D -
Really nice tattoos everybody... I would like to have one or two too but I don't know when I will find the time to think about the motive and go to such studio. But I already know WHERE they should be :P One at the shoulder - a bit bigger - and one at the foot, but it still has to be hideable because I work in a bank and tattoos are not allowed to be seen there. -Aredhel

A late late late Happy birthday wish from me too... Hope you had a really great day with loooots of presents... -Aredhel

How long do you wait until you open your lego?
Aredhel replied to Ratshot's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, I chose at the weekend because this is the time where I really have more than 1 hour of time. After work it is not possible to do much more than eating and going to sleep Before opening my new set I need to take pictures of the box and the unwrapped bags and for that I need a good light (meaning no electric light if possible)... --> and THEN I can start building the set... -Aredhel -
Really amazing barn! I really love the details INSIDE of it like all the axes etc. The tractors are really cute too and perfectly fit into the barn. Good choice of size and technic! -Aredhel
