Thanks for all comments and suggestions, I know that the ship isn't perfect but this is only the second my ship - the third will be perfect
The sails after rigging were the worst thing - the biggest problem was exactly the right size of it.
I have to admit that the construction of such a big ship takes many time and over time becomes very tiresome - I am very impatient and want to finish it very quickly but it is reflected in the quality...
it's also obvious that you're lacking bricks and have to get along with a limited supply.
That's true, but I notice that the more bricks I have, it always something missing and I need more and more...

Is there an interior?
Yes, but it is rather simple, Thanks for all comments

Hi, I'd like to present my new frigate - HMS Surprise. She's of course based on the Master and Commander movie and Patrick's O'Brian books, but she isn't a replica. I only have a inspiration of real HMS Surprise (exactly HMS Rose). The ship isn't perfect but I think I make progress to my first frigate HMS Hispaniola. The ships are similar - I only change the colour scheme and generally improve the Surprise. I also done a new string rigging and I'm very pleased for it. It was the worst thing during the building and took the most of time. The sails are the same that in Hispaniola but I soak them in tea. At the end I want to credit Perfectionist, Bonaparte, Captain Greenhair and a few other builders from Eurobricks - they gave me lots of inspiration and ideas.
Enjoy!

The one you’ve chosen indicates your ship is attached to a squadron under command of an admiral of the white after 1801.
Indeed ;) I think properly the flag should be on the red background, but I don't know exactly
The back are very impressive
Thanks

Thanks for all comments, I am very pleased that you like my ship, as for the flag indeed it's from 19 century - simply I don't know a lot about British flags from that period - I only know that also exsisted a similar flag with the red background - I saw it on movies

The flag was made of paper - I found a picture on google, resize, print and cut out

The 18th century. Caribbean sea. Traveller John Reewes is setting off on the frigate „Hispaniola” along with friends for seeking the missing treasure of captain Flint. Crew of the ship are creating: squire Trelawney – main foundator of the expedition, dr Livsey, captain Jack and Jimmy – the cabin boy. But our travellers don't know that there is amongst the crew an old Flint’s comrade – the Long John Silver …. Enjoy!
* some names and an idea of this creation of course are from the Rober Louis Stevenson’s „Treasure Island”

Great set, especially the plane looks very good - it only had two big pieces - the nose - (I like it, it looks better than nose build only with bricks) and the back of plane. The big advantage of this set are also the brick build wings instead of that bulky horrible piece http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=54093, I think it's better than 7893 set and one of the best planes for last years.

Great, best castle ever, when I was a boy I always want this set and after years I at least got it. It's the most realistic of lego castle, also it has a lot of minifigures and many of unique parts for example the big flag - only on this set, 2 horse bardings with dragon pattern, tudor walls, dragon plumes in many colours and many more, seriously it's amazing and magnificent set.
-
My favourite castle - but not Castle set- is the Black Knight's Castle 6086 - Indisputably it's the best castle ever. It looks very realistic - and has everything that real castle must have, It's just a masterpiece!!! - great design, great parts and great minifigs
But my favourite castle set now is Medieval Market Village - 10193
-
I think the new castle shields don't show the unicorn. I realised that they are the same as duplo castle shields like in this picture !!!... but that's great because the duplo shields are very, very good and I always like to see it in "normal" lego Castle. They only have different colours.

I'd like to see a set like 6267 - small tavern which could be compatible to soldiers fort (modular building) and of course some soldiers ship!

Thanks for all comments, I'm very happy that you like it :)

I know that I posted it twice so I have a request to moderator to delete that second topic, sorry

6243 Pirate Ship
What I like
- Colour scheme of the set - dark and red brown
- Great minifigures with women - I think she isn't a member of pirate crew, she is probably the kidnapped doughter of the admiral and the soldiers try to rescue her
- New parrot and monkey with banana
- Mermaid !!
- Classic style of the ship - it looks similar to old pirate ships and I think it's even better than 6289
- real look stearn with classic windows
What I don't like
- Ulgy desing of sails - that skull looks very childish and in my opinion it is the worst thing of this set, lego should safe the old desing of the skull
- ulgy shark
- no rope, compass and anchor - but it could be placed on the other side and we don't see it
- cannon on the stearn don't fit there
- the ship could be a bit bigger
- Colour scheme of the set - dark and red brown
-
Thanks for all comments, the sail with skull is the same as sail in 6289 - I only change colours - all sails in this ship are scans of the sails from 6289 and 6285 set - I change the colours in photoshop and print the sails on paper ;) The sails which are made of paper looks like real lego sails and it is a simply and cheap way to make all lego sails when you don't have real

That's great !! It is a very climatic moc, lot of details, when you look at this you feel wild west;) I like the walls and windows technique, very good job
