  1. I think this set has a really great play value, The queen looks awesome and menacing, I like the gold pieces on her. But my heart is stolen by Evo's little walker, that mech is perfect for my taste, TLG really hit the spot with that, it looks like a great utility machine with combat ability. The minifig choices are a bit boring but it's a good way to get the 1st half year's figs without buying those sets (except breez and rocka, but they make an appearance in the 2nd wave's smaller sets). Thanks for the great review!

I'm also curious to see the beast combo model in higher resolution someday, it looks great.

  2. I wasn't interested in this set first, but it's a fairly well-built machine, I like the sturdy look of it and the color scheme. The idea of the swapping drill and laser cannon is also great, and I'm fond of these new cocoons and it looks super is light blue, thanks for the review, I won't get this one but it's still a decent set.

  3. I really liek this set, I think this is the best for the Heroes in the summer wave, the shape is unusual and looks great and the grappling hook is a great addition, however I have to try it's effectiveness first hand, also my favourite hero is Breez so I have a weak spot for this set, This and the Tunneler beast are the best in the summer wave IMO (not like the others being bad but these 2 are my favourites from the whole year)

  4. It's possible. I always question the direction in which Chima will be taken. Something pushes me toward a water-esque theme or a desert theme. I'm surprised to see china make this far, many Lego Born themes don't last like chima or ninjage have. With the exception of Bionicle.

I was thinking about waht comes next too, and I see potential in a desert theme, a water world would be also great, but creating humanoid underwater animals is risky.

  5. Just finished building them, and I have to say the speedor set (it is my first) is a very pleasant surprise, the little build in it looks great, while the play funtion is simple but works great, and I was surprised by the speedor, I didn't know it's that heavy  Now I definetely want to pick up the Stinger duel, Skinnet and Furty mostly for the figs, but now they contain more valuse as I came to like the Speedors themself. And Razar's Chi Raider is a great set, with great parts and build, if you can pick it up on clearance I recommend getting it.

  6. Great review again, thanks for making it!

I have to say that I was really looking fprward picking up this set despite the design flaws, but you review, just shown me that the back is reaallyyy empty and it bothers me, Lennox's Lion vehicle suffered form this too, but they at least made the back look finished and also the cannons drew the attention away from the empty back. Here they tried to cover it with dark orange parts moreover if the trike is deployed it's really just a technic base with a head and four legs. Although it's the cheapest set were you can get a fully equipped Fangar and still I think the walker looks great from the front and it's an incredibly great pack of parts. I still want to get it and MOD it, you LDD modifications OneVeyronian looks super!

  7. Thank you for the review Lobot, this set is a great surprise for me, when the NY Toy fair pictures surfaced I didn't pay much attention to this set, but now I simply love it. It has some great details and looks really great when folded, also I like the Dewback and of course the figures are splendid. I don't mind the set being so little, it looks great and compact as well as it takes little space on the shelf. Only the price seems a bit much, but considering the amount of great figures and the new Dewback and a huge laod of SW nostalgia, the price/value rate is quite good after all.

i plan to buy it if I still have money at August

  8. It's a very well written review, thanks for making it!

I don't think Foltrax is bad, he looks really cool with the armor print and dark red, I think Flinx is the awkward one, I never liked figures with short legs (only Max Rebo and the Hobbits). But I have to agree with you on Tormak, he definetely needs more stripes (maybe arm prints too) and not just black but white ones as well. Also the more I look at the expression on Li'Ellas headmold the more stupid it looks, the lipstick just makes it worse, and still underneath the print on the head itself is so cute and well done. I'm planning to buy the Phoenix Temple, this review encouraged me to do so, even more, so I'm really looking forward to this set.

  9. My store is behind but are doing a bit of a sale. Yesterday I picked up the Ape, Lion, and Eagle Legend Beasts (completing my set) and may get another crocodile soon for the eyes. I also got 70012 Razer's Chi Rider for $35 CAD at Walmart. That's almost half off.

Seems like they want to get rid of the 70012, I just ordered it too for half the original price, along with 70102 which was also on sale in a Hungarian webshop. (Grabbed 70720 as well so the delivery is free). I hope they don't discount Cragger's ship soon because I really want that too, but now I blew my budget for the month Lego-wise.

  10. Hm I saw the designer video and the steering wheel indeed is a major flaw in the inner design, but I think it can be modded easily.

The including of the storage for the spare wheel is a really nice surprise, it completes the model and was unexpected, there was nothing like this in any sets and it's a lovely touch

  11. Just rewatched the mvie yesterday, and your MOC looks great so far, maybe the blue isn't the most accurate color for it, but it looks good, The neck is not so visible, so you should cover it and make it bulkier as turbo1013 said, looking forward to this MOC, keep up the great work! :classic:
