Today I got my hands on this bad boy, but while building I already had to make some modifications. I removed the reinforced joints from the ankles, it stands out too much being grey, when the lower half of the legs should represent black boots. I also got rid of the 1x1 beams on the belt, it looks okay but takes away a huge deal from the articulation. After these mini MODs he is a very fine Sith Lord, I'm amazed by the range of motion in the arms with so much armoring on it and the body build was really enjoyable and interesting. Now I just need a shorter cape so i can make a skirt for him, I'm really missing it.

I cannot help myself, Grievous is my favourite PT character and seeing that he turned out so great as a Constraction fig just makes me want him more. I'm a little bit sceptical beacuse the upper part of the torso is very gappy and doesn't look accurate, but other than this he is one awesome, intimidating CCBS beast. Darth vader is great as well, IMO the 2 bigger figs are the best.

I'm really liking this, the original set wasn't appealing to me, but this revamp is excellent, Onua looks complete now and I'm glad you got rid of the gold pieces, those were really out of place, silver-purple-gold it was a mess, also silver doesn't go well with gold IMO. Great job!

No wonder mine won't close all the way. Time to email customer service.
I built mine yesterday and I have the same problem, looks like TLG haven't realized the issue in time, but it doesn't really bother me, it's still one magnificent ship with beautiful figures

Today I ordered Poe's X-wing and the First Order TIE, I was speculating which should I buy, because the primary goal was the Transporter, but it's so overpriced in Hungary (more expensive than Kylo Ren's shuttle ) that I decided to pick up the 2 iconic fighter instead (and I paid only a little bit more for these 2 than what I would've paid for the Transporter). I'm really looking forward to have them in my hand

My army of unikittyes have arrived safe and sound Thank you CopMike for doing this every year!

Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars appears at the end. I really want the Coruscant Police Gunship set now.
I have a feeling we will see the Rebels edition Ahsoka in the future in Lego form

I just watched the finale, and it was mind-blowing, that's how you end a season!!! When Fulcrum's identity was revealed I jumped out of my chair in overflowing joy, Rebels is finally the SW series, that we needed, not saying that CW was bad, but Rebels has the classic SW magic in it.
I hope the Inquisitor is not gone forever, he was a favourite from his first appearance, but considering that they brought Vader into the game, they might not need him in the story anymore.

I just became up to date with the summer sets, I have to say Ninjago will have the strongest wave so far this summer. I'm not a huge fan, but that ship is too good to be true, and the Dragons, aww man, I'm far from having enough money to collect this theme too

My TIE Advanced Prototype finally arrived today, it's a real beauty, i think it's the best looking TIE's in LEGO form, the new round 6x6 clipped pieces give it the perfect form with a lots of neat building techniques and awesome minifigure (I'm looking at you Inquisitor).
I can only recommend this set!

This is great! I was just rewatching the so far released episodes of Rebels and I was thinking that Lego should make this into a set, but I think you maxed it out, perfect build!

Ordered the TIE Advanced Prototype yesterday, can't wait till it arrives. So excited for the Inquisitor fig, also the ship is a beauty with the greal new clipped round pieces.

Thanks for the review, for me this set is the best in this wave along with the T-16 and Azure Angel. The biggest reason to buy this was the Inquisitor, he just beat the Darth Malgus figure, all those new molds and the beautiful painting, Lego did a grat job on him. However the price tag seems high for me, but considering that SW sets are getting more expensve year by year and that it's an awesome set I'm not complaining. The ship itself is a beauty too, in Jangbricks's review he asid that the build is exceptionally great so i'm really looking forward to it.
I ordered it yesterday, now the waiting is killing me

Now I officially dropped my jaw, stunning work, looks perfect

This is fantastic, the minifigure is as creepy as in the movie, great job on this vignette.
-
Wow this set looks great! I wasn't too excited about the new winter wave, the new sets are very average, except some beauties, but this Vulture plane is awesome. I like the scrappile junkie look of it, and the new Vulture also looks nice, probably the only set I will get from the new line.

This is fantastic! A very fun idea with clever functions and design, I wish you good luck on the contest, this is just pure dewbackness!

Not only Santa Claus say ho-ho-ho, there is a big space snail out there who is a bit meaner, but the laughing is indeed similar.
So I want to dress up as Jabba the Hutt and freeze something in carbonite, and have my own Rancor

Thanks for the great review VBBN!
Pohatu was nothing interesting from the pictures for me, but I kinda fell in love with him now. The weapons and the color scheme is excellent. However he is a bit awkward from the side, other than that he is a great figure. The new Bionicle IMO is as good as the old, and I was very skeptical and worried how the new products turn out at first, but the new Toa are splendid.
-
Fantastic, from the released boxarts I liked This Protector the most, and except the empty back the figure looks excellent. Love the color scheme and the assymetric arm armoring. Thanks for the great and detailed review VBBN!

My favourite is Bye Bye Babylon, it's very simple but earcatching :D riff and the solo on the end is awesome. The other Cryoshell songs were cool too. Also nobody seems to remember or care to mention the Inika soundtrack, Move along from the All American Rejects, I think it was very fitting and energetic.
-
Thanks for the review! When Bionicle was first released, Kopaka was my first set in the theme and still my favourite character. I'm not collecting action figures anymore, but I think I'll make an exception with this beauty, I think this version turned out to be great, even among the other new Toas I think he is the best.
Releasing Bionicle again brings back so much nostalgia

Just heard the news, I'm super excited, this project was lurking on Ideas for a while now, and as much as I wanted it to become an official set, I didn't expected it to actually happen. Can't wait for the final design, but I don't think it can turn me away, in any way from buying the official set

Just ordered the Darth Revan minifig for a relatively cheap price, my TOR collection will be soon complete, only missing the Defender-class Jedi cruiser.

These are fantastic! Really unique and beautiful models from both of you, congrats!
