This is amazing Cagri! I love this kind of MOC's a lot. Even though the huts are simple, you use great techniques to maintain the simplicity of the architecture! I would love to see some sort of sloped diorama with some more huts and perhaps some peasants in their daily affairs!

great MOC! Perhaps you can try to use white, light grey and dark grey elements to get a more dynamic cloud of smoke. Keep us updated in your experiments! Thanks for sharing.

Same for me. I just tried the same here. And I had a old link to the hobbit page, which resultet in "Page not found".
I think they might be having some issues with MGM or New Line Cinema. The set presentation is very descriptive, and contains many spoilers... The Mirkwood Spiders set is an heaby spoiler itself. In the book, Legolas and Tauriel have nothing to do with the escape from the spiders (they don't appear in the book at all), so this reveals a lot about Peter Jackson's script choices.

heh wait to see the prices we got here in greece.
ahahaha or the ones we get here in Portugal! Lego solidarity among the repressed European underdogs, LOTR343 :)

Oh don't be sour, it's just a fun little exclusive. You don't NEED that set - it's a regular Boba Fett with regular pieces you could get on Bricklink if you wanted. It's purpose is as a sweet little memento for attending the convention, not as a vital set that belongs in everyone's collection.
Overachievers will pay for this, they sure will...

$40 each tin, limited to 1000 numbered tins. 250 each day. It's gonna get pricy....
That's pretty lame; it seems to be a Celebration VI exclusive, which probably means that it isn't a regular set. I think I'll wait till Sunday to whether or not the show comes up with some useful information.
It's not going to be a regular set, at all.
-
Sounds like Fett and Slave 1 in a tin is the exclusive. Jango or Boba?
EDIT: mpaisans beat me to it
Sorry! Trying to find out if it is Jango or Boba..
-
The Celebration VI Lego Exclusive is a Boba Fett and Slave I in a tin can (Like the SDCC Darth Maul)!
-
Well I hope we find out if it is Ackbar or a mon cal pilot.
I'd put my money on a Mon Calamari pilot, but it's a guessing game so far.
-
Will these be the proper sets or the prelim sets? I would be good to see the proper sets.
I don't know. If there's anything definitive, I guess we'll get photos. If its preliminary, we might know something about some new sets or minifigures on the Lego pannel, which is tomorrow. I'm really curious about the Celebration VI exclusive and to get further info on the A-Wing set you told us about.
-
So we are definitely getting pictures of some of the 2013 sets today? Or is it just speculation?
If there's any new set at CVI we'll know of it, I think, today or tomorrow, at least. We should also get some images of the Lego Celebration VI Exclusive today, stay tuned.

For everyone who wants to follow the Lego events at Celebration VI, you may want to check out this thread on the rebelscum forum -> Lego at Celebration VI
Also, this guy made a Twitter account just for CVI - He'll be attending the Lego panel and he said he was going to post videos and photos of the Lego stand and event as soon as he got there -> Follow CVI Bounty Hunter
Cheers

This is not the place but I just couldn't resist: Are you joking with that last part of your statement? iPhone may be a simple telephone but its sales make more in a year than the entire Lego business does. How can a Lego Star Wars toy be "much more important" than one of the most legendary products of this century?
I think he was being sarcastic.. :) Tomorrow we may get some images of the new sets, hell yeah!

I'd love to see more Tatooine themed sets too. Its arguably the most iconic planet in the Star Wars universe. One idea I have is to release both the Mos Eisley Cantina and a Tusken Raider Encounter as companion sets like Jabba's Palace and the Desert Skiff were this year.
Mos Eisley Cantina
An actual building this time like the new Jabba's Palace that opens up. Comes with Han, Chewbacca, Dr Evazan, Ponda Baba, Greedo, Wuhur, a Bith band member and at least 1 other alien (Duro? Hammerhead?)
Tusken Raider Encounter
Comes with Luke's landspeeder and a bantha. Figures include Luke, Obi-Wan, R2-D2, C-3PO and 2 Tusken Raiders.
It would be wonderful. But I don't think TLG sees this kind of sets (from the OT) appealing to kids. I'm afraid we're gonna have to wait until the OT reaches the big screen again (with that awful 3D conversion...) I think we're gonna have to wait some years. Hope I'm wrong :/

No evidence or source or tip or anything. People are bringing it up more and more because - let's be honest - we're due.
Ahah Thanks Bobsy, that's what I thought.
Bilbo Baggins, Lobot is a character from the Ep. V - Empire Strikes back. He works for Lando Calrissian in the Cloud City on planet Bespin - He's like a steward / captain of the guard in the city. TLG launched a minifig of Lobot this year, in one of the series 2 planet sets (Bespin & Cloud City Twin-Pod)! It's a wonderful minifig!
-
So I think that it is possible, but we need to wait for more information.
Is there any tips on a possible cloud city set in the future? I missed that rumor. Every year I see people saying they want a cloud city set and a Mos Eisley cantina, but i haven't heard anything specific! I've been hoping for some Tatooine sets (Obi Wan's hut, Sand people ambush, Luke's/ Uncle Owen's house etc.) but since this is the year of ROTJ (allegedly) I don't see that happening in OT sets..
-
Anyway, there will be a leak soon or later, we just need to be patient.
Probably in Celebration VI.
-
Really nice design. I like the way you positioned the droid, next to the pilot. I think the OT ships design is much more appealing than the prequel style. Great rendition, if you find a way of removing some studs from the top part it's definitely a win!
-
I would really like to see a proper rendition of Arvel Crynyd. A guy destroys a Super Star Destroyer and no one even remembers his name
-
Thats why he's in a $20 set.
Is it certain that the A-Wing will be a $20 set? I'm guessing they are adding minifigs to raise the price..

ahaha ultra nice!
