Does anyone remember the rumored price of the X mansion in the survey? Just curious because if it was $300 I can see it becoming a modular but any less I would assume it'll stay as a facade/doll house

The thought of a Chinese building modular is very exciting and before I checked this thread I told myself to keep my expectations low, but it would be a great 16x32 set. Either way I'm sure someone will be making a rebrickable model of it so it can fit in with the modular street. The rumors keep getting better and better!

This is my original thought too which makes me hope that the quinjet can land on the tower although I shouldn't get my hopes up for that even though its not completely impossible. I've seen a few mocs recently of Avengers Tower housing the quinjet. Only time will tell..

The AT is by far my most anticipated set of 2023 and I can't wait to see it, but part of my hopes that it doesn't leak so I my first look at it is in its best form. I don't know whats wrong with me, is this what growing up is??

I feel as if I'm the only one hoping that this teaser isn't the new modular. It looks too similar to AS and I much rather something for our city that hasn't been done before like a hospital or museum. But to be honest no matter what it is or looks like I'll be buying it with the modular GWP come February.
Also, speaking of two modulars a year, it's always been a dream of mine for them to release a large skyscraper modular every year or two in the summer to add some height to my city but the Marvel modulars have helped with that and I hope an IP modular is a trend that stays so that I can get a building twice a year, but not feel as if I need to break the bank to collect them all.

I think I might be the only one who loves the GWP based off the first leaked photos. I'm always looking for vehicles to add to my city, especially ones similar to the creator modular GWP vehicles, and it comes with a bonus of 4 minifigures.
And we have no idea if it'll go with the theme of the avengers tower or not; either way this made me excited to wait in line outside the lego store on Black Friday

Yeah, I should have said best well received by fans. I have no idea what the sales were on those sets, so good point. I just found them to be extremely popular among the Lego community

Does anyone have some possible Marvel modular ideas they could do in the future after the AT, either MCU based or comic? I'm sure it must be their best selling sets out of all the Marvel sets but part of me is worried that after the AT it'll be over because what else could sell as well as the first three?

Does anyone remember when the modulars typically leak? I know last year was October but I forget if the years prior were at the same time or earlier.

I recall reading about it as well somewhere, but I can't find more (although they may just have been elaborating more on the content of this video).
There's also a nice post about different (non-official) mods of it, including a car dealership - Modifying the LEGO Creator Downtown Diner (thebrickblogger.com)
Very cool, thank you. Makes me excited for next years modular and we still have 7 months to go!

It sounded like it was very early stages, and not even a prototype model. I expect they discuss lots of concept ideas, but in this case, there was a small coincidence and a bit of a story, so it was mentioned. Same for then telling Scott the original concept for the Downtown Diner being a car showroom, but many things got in the way of it being practical.
I suspect they tell us these things when there is no chance of the concept being made in the future.
Do you mind elaborating on Downtown Diner being a car showroom? I love to read about the behind the scenes and Downtown Diner is my favorite of all the modulars.

I must say I'm extremely relieved to see there's no Marvel Modular released during this wave since all the price points were too low for a large Avengers Tower. Hopefully we see a $349.99 D2C rumor for the fall soon even though my wallet disagrees.

A little off topic but does anyone have a complete list of the gwp vehicles that have been released in conjunction with the modular buildings.
I'm aware of 40409 Hot Rod, 40448 Vintage Car, and 40532 Vintage Taxi and now the moving truck but I was curious if I missed any. Thanks!

Have Deadpool or Stan Lee been debunked yet for the remaining minifigs in the Daily Bugle yet?
Deadpool could be one of the "popular" repeat super heroes and if any set were to have Stan Lee it should be this one.

If next year is a modular X-mansion, I'm curious what they'll do to make it drastically different from the Modular museum other than the obvious differences like color and interior. I would imagine it would have to be 48x32 studs and feature a similar architecture style.
That being said I've noticed the icons modular line and the marvel modular line have similar features such as the Daily Bugle and Police station both being an art deco architecture style and featuring a green newspaper stand, and the sanctum and boutique hotel both being a corner building and having similar color patterns. The outlier is the Jazz club and Avengers Tower but the Jazz club was originally supposed to be a newspaper press so maybe there was something similar there originally?
Maybe I'm just over thinking it but I'm curious if this is done on purpose.
