This is really nice. Do you know an approximate  size of this? Surprised with how well green roofs blend in with grey. Although, green plates on the roofs need to be replaced IMO.

Thank you for posting, I think I will add chess set too. Really like your vision, please keep us updated :)

Personally I like the first variant the most. Second variation will look much better if you lift AT and GH (2018) adding rock foundation. Have you considered adding  chess sets under this layout? It would be nice to have kitchen under 2018 GH too.

Your work is amazing, look forward to seeing more posts.

For those who are interested in making their own Hogwarts layout I can give you my stud.io models of all sets so you dont have to spend few days building it as I did :D Oh and by the way I estimated the size of this layout for 75x125 cm so it needs a big table or vitrine for display :D

This is great! I would really appreciate the stud.io file. It will probably take me a few weeks of work to create the layout you made in a few days. I really like how it looks like a real castle.

My plan is to use all the minifigure size sets 2018-2021 for a Christmas display this year.  I’ll replace the sand green roofs with grey and white (snow), add some Christmas trees 🎄, more snow... I have saved two advent calendars for kids to open during the month of December and add those pieces to the display.

Talking about non system-scale sets, I have not got the art set since I think the individual ones do not look good enough and it is not so tempting to buy 4, however this ones are excellent:

Thank you for posting this. Now I’m really considering buying Lego Art set. I love the alternate builds.

  5. Thank you Alexandrina and  Gayon2002 for such a quick reply. Anyone have the idea how to incorporate new anniversary sets? Would you add it to 2018 sets? Switch roofs? Add green roof pieces to new sets and some grey pieces to the anniversary sets? Use anniversary  sets to elevate 2018-2020 sets? Add it to old sets?
I really want new sets, mostly for the minifigures, however it’s not really clear what to do with the buildings.

  6. Hi, this thread is so much fun to read. So many great ideas!
Really appreciate that one of the members sent me the link to the pictures.  Thank you!

I started to look through my collection and found some parts of old sets. I think I will try to combine the old parts with new anniversary sets to make a bigger display. I found 2 pieces with stickers on them. If anyone can help to identify the set it came from, it will be very helpful.
