Hello all, can anyone confirm if the new HE Draco print is accurate to any point in the movies? I recall him of course in the black suit and black shirt but not a green shirt with tie and Slytherin pin. I am sure someone on the forum will know instantly if this is the case or if Lego just didn't want to print black on black on black for his torso. Thanks! One other question also, historically is there another 2x VIP points event post August? I know we had one in July and I will be getting the HE but seems wrong to buy it when there isn't at least a 2x deal on or an amazing GWP offer. I also can't wait until 2023 either so wondered if there could be one coming up?

Absolutely agree he wasn't HE crew but he was still very much part of the scene that this set is depicting more so than a crimson conductor who never appeared on either the train or on KC platform at all.

Oh I do agree and I really love how they have represented KC here. No more of the platform is required in my opinion, this little section checks all the boxes. I particularly appreciate the architecture below the platform, that could easily have been skipped. I just can't get around the crimson uniform for the conductor. Just makes him a random background character rather than the actual character from the film who had a line of course and only appears in navy blue from what I can find.

Just retracting a previous statement, upon watching videos I guess the name plate on the front of the train DOES protrude from the front like this. Can anyone account for the conductor being in dark red (if only the train was!!!) ? The conductor in the movie at King's Cross wears blue. The conductor at Hogsmeade does indeed wear crimson but has black pants. Is this meant to be either? It seems a tease that Lego would include the conductor for Hogsmeade station when so many fans wanted that to be the station included, not KC.

Just watched the official 'lifestyle' video of it. I own every Lego HP set and minifigure, I have 2 extra carriages for the current Hogwarts Express model to make it a little more accurate, this was a guaranteed buy for me, but...I like is so much LESS after seeing this video. The red is just so wrong. The track looks, so, well, fake. All the detail that the box art seems to suggest is lost when you see the train in 'real life' in real lighting, same with the brick work of the station. The bright yellow on bright red is just awful. It should be gold on crimson, not yellow on red. And what is with the name plate of the train being about 3 feet in front of the engine suspended in air...for once I am begging for a sticker. Gutted.

Wow...August 16th came really fast this year ;) Still wish they had gone for a more accurate claret red than the bright red from the previous model.

Is there any word on the Brickheadz release date for USA/Canada yet? Trying to work out if that is one of the sets I can leave until July to get the GWP...or are the Brickheadz expected to be even later than that?

Just watched Brick Clicker's new vid...I am thinking with an official name of 'Hogwarts Express Collector's Edition' we are no longer talking minifigure scale and something much more impressive and 'display-worthy' like the Titanic model. Like how we went from a fairly basic version of Hedwig to an excellent larger scale piece in the icons set. Maybe it will actually be in crimson like the real train and not bright red like we have had before???

Ah bravo, thank you! I started looking at HBP onwards as I thought it was from later on. I am.adding some 2010/11 minifigures to my collection but didn't want this one if it wasn't from the films. Just got Bellatrix for a great price on brick link and will add this Ginny and the DH Neville to my cart despite his somewhat over tanned neckline! My only reluctance with Neville is that we get a new version in a future Battle of Hogwarts set now that DH is no longer off the table for Lego

Can anyone help please, I am trying to find any scene in the movies where Ginny is dressed in the same outfit as the 2010 Burrow figure (grey sweater and red pants). I have found a promo shot of Bonnie Wright in the outfit but not in the films. I doubt Lego would base a minifigure off a promo shot only right??

Wow, I had never seen this Ginny or Neville, the are indeed excellent figures. Guess I am spending my day going through all the 2010/11 sets to make a brick link list!!! Does anyone else have any stand out 2010/11 figures they recommend having in a 2018+ collection?

I caved last year and bought the 2011 Narcissa on Bricklink figuring we would never get another after she didn't appear in DA. Was only about $10. For an older figure I think the printing looks great and she doesn't look out of place with the 2018 figures at all.

Sadly it would not be a rebuy situation, once it is gone I wouldn't be getting it again. It will fund the trip to some extent and I won't have display space when I get there like I do now (a whole Lego room in fact). I have considered sending it across but fear the cost would be large but I also appreciate I likely won't get the true value selling on eBay and that the UK has a much larger market of dealers and collectors (and people generally) than rural Eastern Canada where I live. I suppose it could be worth spending some now but recouping it ten fold by selling there.

Hi all, forgive me if this is not the right place to do this and if there is another forum room more appropriate. I live in Canada but will be relocating to the UK in the coming months and sadly have to sell my entire Lego HP collection as it is too much to take with me. I have 95% of all 2018 onwards sets along with extras like both minifigure series, all gold figures, complete choc frog tile set, extra carraiges for the Hogwarts Express and so on. All sets are 100% complete, in perfect condition with manuals and boxes. The thought of selling it piecemeal on a certain auction site is a nightmare. So my question is this. I am not a dealer as such and don't want to create a Bricklink store but would rather sell them all in one go to a collector or seller or dealer. Is there another website or portal that could help me with this or another website for selling Lego generally that I am unaware of??? Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

How long should we be expecting to wait for the 2022 D2C leak/reveal? I am sure I could work it out by going over posts from last year to see when DA was leaked/revealed but by the time I did that the new D2C would be available to buy!!!
