Promobricks just posted their article btw, so for English speakers, that's the place to look (with google translate)
-
They're making a new modular hogwarts that isn't compatible with the old one???
-
Yeah I'm gonna watch it anyway hoping for some translations on screen lol

HYPED!!!

Promobricks is premiering a YouTube video in 10 min for HP Summer 2021 đ

Lmao this was exactly my thought when hearing about the leak, but that's why it would be awesome if they actually did end up making it

I've got all four of my books and the MBoM promo! I built the Potions one today and I honestly didn't expect to like it as much as I did. I actually impulse bought that one separately from Target after only ordering the other three from Shop@Home. But I had a lot of fun building it and I think it looks way better in person than in pics/videos (as do most LEGO sets). Folding it up is also oddly satisfying - everything fits inside the book really neatly except for the minifigs (which is fine). I can't wait to build the other three and figure out how to display them!

Awesome!!

I've heard of orders getting canceled when it says that, especially orders for items in limited quantity (like the Nebulon B Frigate or Bespin Duel). I hope @Lego-Freak ends up getting it but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It's impossible to know exactly what causes some sets to be more popular or valuable than others, but I think with the examples you provided, the Dickens promo was available for much longer (possibly because of the threshold but maybe also because they made more) and Brickheadz in general just aren't nearly as popular as regular builds. MBoM also sold out extremely quickly at Barnes and Nobles in the US, so people who missed out on that probably realized its exclusivity. And, to top it off, MBOM is just a neat looking set with an interactive feature, which is pretty great for a GWP.

It's just the fact that people know it's hard to get and stock won't be replenished. It's less about the build and more about having something that's rare. For example, I thought Yoda's lightsaber was a really lame GWP for the Mos Eisley Cantina, but that also goes for at least $100 on eBay and other sites.

It's probably gone for good unfortunately âšī¸, your only chance now would be to try and get it at a LEGO store in person.
-
I skipped the Potions one because the minifigs are basically repeats of existing ones (besides a subtle change in Snape's torso). I'll probably still pick it up at some point though, probably when it goes on sale.

Site is back up, I just placed my order for three of the Moments sets!

This is the US calendar: https://www.lego.com//cdn/cs/stores/assets/bltad0942f7946ca62c/01_January_Calendar_US.pdf?format=pjpg

This has just been confirmed via the promo calendar. Man, I wasn't planning on buying all four immediately, but now I may have to lol

Yeah these art sets are pretty bad - not nearly as nice as the Iron Man and Star Wars ones. The HP art is super bland in comparison to those. Good thing that means more money saved for other sets
-
I honestly don't mind the new torsos. It gives us something different, but if you really hate them, you still have the option to replace them for cheap with the student pack torsos or any extra torsos you may have from other sets. Aside from that, I agree that Sprout looks awful, but the rest of the figures look great! Even though Snape is wearing the same outfit, it's nice to see some variation on that. TLG could've easily recycled the same figure for the fourth (?) time, but they didn't. Seamus is awesome, and Flitwick has really grown on me from the leaks. Probably won't pick up all of these for retail, but I plan to collect them all slowly over time.

Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
YetiZombie replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Taskmaster's Ambush is live on Shop@Home (at least in the US). -
You're the leaker we need but not the leaker we deserve ?
-
This is also odd because that means it can't be built on a baseplate. Unless they come up with a new baseplate for it?
-
I also don't 100% believe him for obvious reasons, but the dude does have a decent following (10K subscribers on YouTube) so I doubt he'd want to purposely jeopardize that by spreading fake info. Video says January 1st.

DA is finally out of stock in the US. Only took 25 days! Noticed this too. That's definitely what inspired the color used for it in the set Haven't rewatched it since seeing it in theaters and being very disappointed. Maybe it's time to give it a second try?

For the art set - is it one set for the whole Hogwarts coat of arms, or do you need four sets to complete the coat of arms? I'm seeing conflicting info.
