What I meant is that you either get no info or those riddles, and I don't know why anyone would choose no info over info.

Well sometimes riddle end up confusing people more than giving  any good information.

That’s the issue, are people really interested in a car that is only in 1 film (out of eight) for about 10-20 minutes of said film ?, it’s the type of thing I would LOVE to MOC, but I’m terrible at things like that, haha, I don’t actually think the Joker’s Low Rider sold all that well so I’d be surprised if they did more cars of that size

There are so many things I’d love to get that I we ever will, and some things I know we never will ?

Really? I really liked that set so it's a shame if it didn't sell well. But that's probably getting slightly off topic. :shrug_oh_well:

on a side note, I’m the probably the only person that would, but I’d love to get a Ford Anglia similar to the Joker’s Low rider from TLBM, inaccurately sized to the other sets, but can fit 4 minifigures, 2 side by side front and back, just like in Chamber of Secrets, could give us exclusive Fred and George and could also come with Ron/Harry or without so we can do something with our spares lmao ?

That wouldn't be a bad idea because Lego has never made a model of it that could sit for figures. Not sure if people would buy it though

speaking of the Anglia coming again, is it an updated model or built exactly the same, I’ve looked it over several times on the Lego site (the whole Dursley house is my most anticipated set apart from the Burrow) and it looks the same, but surely it won’t be? ??

It is actually slightly. The biggest difference is the the hood and lights (if I'm not mistaken).

Does anyone know where I can find new sets for a cheaper price? On a budget this year…

Amazon also does discounts, and  you can find sets for great prices on bricklink.  With both of those options though you might have to wait a couple months so it really depends on how badly you want the sets.

The red underlines on his coat basically confirm this. I’m convinced

It’s kind of like how Hasbro in their Iron Man 3 line back in 2013 name Iron man armors “sonic camo Iron Man” or “hyper velocity iron man” instead of their on-screen names. I’m pretty convinced that Tazer and Blazer are indeed Blue Steel and Hot Rod

Aren't  the arc reactors on the figures different from the  design of the suit in the movie?

Also, how many pieces  are there in the Avenger's tower set?

I really hope we're getting Olivander's with DA, so I have a place to put all my spare wands as I have a loooooooot of them.

I don't think Lego would release a $400 DA without Olivander's.  Fans of Harry Potter would be outraged, if something that expensive was missing one of the key locations.

There is that too, but that wasn’t a killer for me, although personally I do tend to buy sets for their figures if I’m not a fan, so only 4 Minifigures in a set that expensive for me was a let down

However it did come with four exclusive characters  who are the foundation of Hogwarts lore.

I'm pretty sure the new one will have at least 20

I doubt 20 since it is licensed but I would say 15 would be fairly reasonable.

  8. I must say, these sets are beautiful and make for the best wave so far in the reboot (in my opinion of course).  My favorite sets would probably have to be Private Drive ( I don't have the original but have nostalgia for it if that makes sense), the Room of Requirement ( which exemplifies just how good a $20 set can be with three exclusive figures, two  exclusive molds,  and references/features that really bring the set to life and make it feel whole even though there isn't much to it), and Umbridge's encounter ( Grawp is so much better then what I was expecting).

This is a very unpopular opinion but the worst, to me even though it is a great set, is the Burrow.  I personally prefer the original because i feels classic, however I probably  will like it a lot more when I have it in hand.

Besides Ginny and Mrs. Weaselly, I think that all the minifigures in this wave are great.  While  I understand the complaints about some of the figures, I still find them to be above average especially when you compare them to the likes  of Marvel and DC figures.

Speaking of figures  which characters have new face prints. In my list I have:

    Reused:

Harry (all sets), Ron (all sets), Slughorn, Draco,  Bellatrix, and Lavender

    New:

Umbridge, Centaurs,  Greyback, Doby, the Training dummy, and Luna.

Do the rest have new heads?

  9. I can't believe that we've gotten four new leaks today.  Hopefully  that does mean that the sets will be revealed soon.

The figures themselves are rather interesting:

Harry potter looks great in the updated slughorn party outfit.   Differently looks better than the 2011 one which was pretty good in my opinion.  The hair choice they used for him isn't that surprising and makes sense.

Hermionie  looks alright. I love her sweater.  The plain black legs is understandable since she is wearing black  pants in the scene.  Still not crazy about the face or hair however it is growing on me.

Umbridge  looks fantastic.  Like many I didn't expect such detail. The new face print is great and reflects her look of horror at seeing Grawp, and being carried away by the centaurs,  quite well.  Also I don't know if this has been said but her smiling expression  looks to be different from the one in the bricktober pack as well.  I love the darker shade of pink and the fact that she has the printed heels.  While I understand the preference of her 2007 hair piece this one  has more texture and still works really well even though it doesn't have her signature curl.

Slughorn also looks goods but the lack of excitement is understandable.  Not having they lighter grey hair printed on the side is a downgrade. It also doesn't help that this outfit is so similar to the other one that we've gotten for him  which is more of the fault on the in universe design then Lego's.  I honestly think that having unpainted brown legs was the be best way to go. After all, he is wearing brown pants in that scene.  I don't printing the robes would have turned out that well considering  the problems that LEGO has been recently having with the printing.  As to the hair I feel like the doctor who hair piece would look better

As to the reused facial expressions, it makes sense.  Neither  Harry or Hermionie change that much , in regards to their facial features, between movies 3-6 although new expressions would have been nice.  As to Slughorn,  most of his time in  HBP is spent with him  either smiling or frowning with a look of concern on his face. The only scenes that I can recall him having a broader range of  expression are the  scenes  with the tampered memory  and in the night of Arago's burial.

Yeah it doesn't really matter how they do it because he will always look sort of inaccurate, Grawp is a very difficult character to capture in LEGO form. He'll most likely have a printed face but the rest will be stickers just like Ares and Ant-Man

Has it been confirmed that Grawp will be built in that style.  He would be too square but more importantly would be way to  big.

An X-Mansion is long overdue.  We know it would be been fair popular as well considering all those years ago when it got 10k votes on Lego Ideas (maybe cuusoo at the the time) .

Exactly. There is a lot of demand for x-men sets.

I think if they replaced a wave of Spider Man with a wave of X-Men, just 3 or 4 sets at the start of the year, I reckon they would easily sell. Each X-Men set has been just one set in a wave of Avengers/Guardians of the Galaxy sets, but a full wave would grab more attention. And it'd be better than another year of Venoms and repeated villains. Wouldn't even be mad to see Wolverine vs Magneto Mech

That's true. The x-men sets were surrounded by others that were based off of movies and cartoons that were just coming out and therefore just more popular. ( Also a magneto mech would be both really cool and appropriate considering his powers .)

^this, they just aren't as popular anymore.

    That's because of Marvel.

  11. 4 minutes ago, Falconfan1414 said:

That’s because Lego tried to do the X-men in 2014 and that set was the worst selling set for marvel of 2014. So X-men won’t really be tried again in the wide Lego market until they come to the mcu

That's true but the builds were a little lack luster. Imo the figures in the set were awesome. I can't see why they would have contributed to the set selling horribly though.

Plush the out fits they had in the set were kind of dual  when in relation to the color palette that Lego chose. If they were to  go the rout that the DC CMF did and use a brighter color palette than there is no reason  that an X-men CMF could't sell well.

About the size, again, I don't think Lego cares about continuity. It's not like the Hungarian Horntail was to scale.

    Just now, Balrogofmorgoth said:

In-universe maybe, but Lego proportions are far from accurate

That's true. I would just hope though that there would be a difference in size  between the two even if it's not proportional.

  13. Just now, sammy_zammy said:

Even if it is a part of the set, I'm not sure it'd take up as many pieces as you think - they don't have to build massive structures for it. It could literally be the dragon like the Hungarian Horntail (which only has 143 pieces), some track, a couple of open-side/top vaults and the cart. They could even cut the dragon and make it only based off Philospher's Stone.

I suppose that's true. I would much rather LEGO go with the  Philospher  Stone than Deathly Hallows for the sake of the number of pieces used and the fact that the Ironbelly would make a great set for next year.  If they did do the Ironbelly though wouldn't be bigger than the Horntail?  I thought that the Ironbelly in universe was  a lot bigger.

  14. Personally I feel like the hair piece that captain marvel used  in the 2015 set  would look better on this new figure ( even if it's inaccurate). Also if a Marvel  cmf were to happen than (in my opinion) going with the x-men would be the best choice since those characters are so underrepresented in the marvel theme.

Yeah that definitely makes sense. I think people are expecting sprawling mine cart tracks underneath Gringotts, when in reality it's more likely to be a slight cave, dragon and some valuts just behind Gringotts on the same level.

I mean something like that would take at least 600 pieces. Would much rather see those pieces go to the different shops

    Just now, sammy_zammy said:

That's my point, there's no need for it to be underground. It can just be on the same level - which certainly wouldn't take anything away from the rest.

My point is that it still takes away from whatever else could be possibly be coming in the set.
