Dobby literally only has a different smile in the set he’s in compared to the CMF so there don’t need to be variant according to Lego, plus as I said, she’s as important to her scenes as Umbridge and Slughorn are to their films, the only figure in the BrickTober pack that we’ll never get (imo) is Boggart Snape, bearing in mind the BrickTober pack was messed up release wise due to TRU shutting down so not everyone managed to get it so it’s not unbelievable that Lego would want those who couldn’t get it to still get the characters ??‍♂️

I will agree with you in the fact that if they decided to make set centering around this scene, she would definitely have to be included. I just think that her inclusion in the Bricktober is a signal that a set like this might be unlikely.

Hooch getting a new character is just as likely as both Slughorn and Umbridge

I just don't see it. Hooch is much, much more minor than those two. She only appears in one movie (from my memory) and doesn't really have any strong variants, which I think Lego would need as it seems like they are trying to keep the Bricktober figures exclusive.

IG has a leaked image of a 2021 HP set called "Quidditch Course" (translated from French).  It's blurry but shows what looks like some figures flying around a section of a Hogwarts tower.  I'm not guaranteeing its authenticity, but it looks promising.

Doesn't look very real to me, but could be wrong. I just don't really see them making another Hooch. The statue looks very similar to the one in the Rise of Voldemort set as well.

  4. I'm beginning to understand more and more why Lego decided to leave Gringotts out of this set. I just don't think that Gringotts would have worked just being attached modular style to one straight row of buildings. Hopefully this can still look good if you split the buildings down the middle, creating two rows, and with (hopefully) next year's Gringotts set at the end.

Are you seeing more than just The Burrow & RoR? Those are all I see & the closest in store for RoR is 48 miles away. No in stock of The Burrow.

From what I saw, the Burrow was available for preorder for a couple weeks preceding tonight, but now is not available anywhere, online or in-store. Don't really know what the deal was with that. As for all of the other sets, they appear to be available.

@Bowtruckle44 is the Burrow included in sets that are available to ship?

  6. Very interesting to see that Lego is including such an exclusive figure in the D2C, but certainly exciting to finally see another leak.

Unrelated, but will someone on here please confirm that the US release date for the main wave of sets IS August 1st? Lego.com US does not specify a date on which they are releasing.

    Thank you in advance!

  7. I think that both of these clues could be interpreted for Crabbe and Goyle being in the CMF.I think when he says “gang is meant to be gang” he’s just tying to imply that it isn’t a family. Crabbe and Goyle were polyjuiced obviously and they’re a part of Draco’s gang.

  8. A little off topic, but am I the only one that believes we need a serious improvement for the Great Hall courtyard. Especially with a Deathly Hallows wave coming up soon, I think it would look pretty awkward trying to stage the final duel between Harry and Voldemort in that tiny space. I doubt they remake a Great Hall solely on the basis for a better courtyard, so would a $20 standalone set similar to our RoR this year be more likely?

These are very good points but I would honestly rather get an actual set for the Chamber. For one thing, the Basilisk we have is terrible and it would great to have an actual Basilisk. Also, the Chamber would look great and be a perfect addition to the modular Hogwarts build. Even if we get all the characters from that scene before they ever make a set, I would still want a set

I completely agree with the fact that the basilisk we have is terrible and that a chamber build would be great, but if they did what I said earlier, it would probably give them an excuse not to do a set for it, unfortunately.

  10. [First post (Yay!!!)] I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I believe at this point that it is entirely possible to get all of the figures from a potential Chamber of Secrets set without actually getting a chamber build. I mean, we already have Harry and Ron figures obviously, a Tom Riddle is on the way, and we will inevitably get a Ginny somewhere in the future. The only missing character is Lockhart, and I think that that problem is solved with the CMF. In the CMF, we are getting at least two characters from year 2, a Dumbledore that includes Fawkes and Myrtle, and I think that a Lockhart would be perfect for it as another year 2 fig, although I can't really think of a good accessory (pixie maybe:shrug_oh_well:). We already have a basilisk as well....
