I just saw a post on Instagram of a nice edit of Lego Harry in the Gryffindor Common room talking to Sirius head in the fire. And now I'm really wanting a head of Sirius in trans orange with similar hair to have in a Gryffindor fireplace. I mean it does happen in two films. Maybe if we get a small Gryffindor common room set it could happen? Or as an accessory in a cmf?

Tbh I quite want pepper figs of Katie Bell and Blaise Zabini. However that wouldn't require them to be in Quidditch robes. As Blaise is in the Slug Club, and Katie gets cursed. I guess Roger Davis is also a character I want, as he'd complete the triwizard champions Yule Ball dates.

I do agree with the earlier comment saying we shouldn't include for Quidditch players in the cmf series. Especially as there's only 12 slots now I think it would be wasteful. There are some characters I'd really like to see that Idk is we'd get in a set, and I'd hate for them to get replaced by quidditch robes.

While I like some parts of the accessory set, none of it really ties together. You've got Dedalus Diggle & Doris Crockford, who appear in PS. Okay. Then you've got a jar of leaves, okay maybe that ties to the apothecary? A jar of sweets from Honeydukes? Then the Dumbledore's Army sign up sheet. Err, nice print. Rufus Scrimgeour. Okay I'm glad he's included but doesn't tie to anything else. If they wanted to have two people from the Leaky Cauldron, why isn't the printed tile Harry's list for school: A wand, pewter cauldron, dragon hide skin gloves, an owl cat or toad etc.

My thoughts on the new accessory pack: Harry Potter: Not surprised he's included, it's rare to get anything without Harry. Would've maybe like a unique face though. Rufus Scrimgeour: From the picture I don't think it looks very much like him. I'm okay with seeing a figure of him, as I don't know where else we'd get him (unless they put him in something like a Bill & Fleurs wedding set) Dedalus Diggle: While he was a character in the books, I don't care for his inclusion, and the minifure doesn't look that great either. Looking at his background character in the film, the hat should've been in burgundy. Doris Crockford: At least this character is named in Philosopher's Stone, so she's slightly more worthy of an inclusion. Barely looks like the character though. I think the new McGonnagal hair/hat piece is too big on some figures. The rest of the pieces are okay. I guess it's a nice cheap way to get the jars of acid pops and potion leaves prints (still no clue what it says on the leaf jar though). Like the look of the shopping list print. I just think it's annoying that Lego keep including random background characters that barely appear in the films: Professor Sinistra, Florean Fortescue. When they could be adding other characters who are in the films: Percy Weasley, Madam Pomfrey, Rita Skeeter, Igor Karkaroff, Barty Crouch Senior. I'd even take characters who are prominent in deleted scenes: Mr Borgin, Ernie MacMillan.

I prefer the gray, but the sand green isn't bad. I just find it more annoying at Lego's inconsistency in the new line. When the first new line of sets first came out (Great Hall & Whomping Willow) it established that they were using gray and not sand green. And then they started added it in the Astronomy Tower and now all the new sets are green. I get they wanted to do it for the anniversary, but for people who want to collect all the latest sets they're not going to match nicely.

Oh dear I really don't think much of those Brickheadz, especially Harry. But I guess collector's will buy them just to have all of them.

Tbh, it was odd in the book that they locked up Sirius in a teachers office with no one in the room watching him. Also no teacher had the idea to magically bind him up or restrain him like Grindeldwald in FB2? Also what of Flitwick's office had a fireplace and Floo Powder, then Sirius could easily escape. Maybe the Dark Tower was a good idea for the films.

Oh yeah. Hadn't really thought about him. Tbh if there's anyone from the slug Club I want a minifigure of, it's either Blaise Zabini or Cormac McClaggen. Funnily enough both are on the their houses quidditch teams (McClaggen only when Ron couldn't of course)

Interestingly we have at least 3 Ravenclaws coming in the wave: Luna Love good, Gilderoy Lockhart and (Golden) Quirnius Quirrell. Although I have seen the debate whether Madam Hooch is Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. But I do get what people are saying, it's a bit annoying to constantly get figs of either Luna or Cho. Of course in the books Padma Patil is Ravenclaw too. The only other Ravenclaws are: Roger Davis who's the Quidditch Captain and went with Fleur to the Yule Ball Garrick Ollivander (no description needed) Penellope Clearwater: Prefect and one of the petrified students in the book. Her name was said in CoS but we don't properly see her. Micheal Corner, Ginny's first boyfriend and was a background character in OotP. And then Terry Boot and Anthony Goldstein who were also in Dumbledore's Army.

I've just seen on UK amazon that some sets are discounted. The moments books are £22.00 (was £27.99) Buildable Hedwig is £27.99 (was £34.99) There's discounts on most of the sets but I'm not going type everyone of them.

I'd also add Percy, Karkaroff, Rita Skeeter and Barty Crouch Snr to that list. I don't mind about the reuse of the Mantis face for Madam Rosmerta as it actually worked for her as opposed to Bellatrix. Mrs Flume though I don't think looked very like she did it in the film, but that's a nitpick on my part as I'm a fan of the dvd extras for PoA (where there is a Honeydukes tour part) ss site doesn't appear in the actual film much.

I also think thought the books were exciting. I still quite like some aspects of them, especially the stickers. I would almost buy the stickers on their own, buy 1. I don't have any of the proper sized castle sets to incorporate them into and 2. I don't know if there are any tiles big enough for the larger book stickers. (I really like the Fat Friar one) I think the main think that's stopping me buying them is the price. Also like Slughorn I'd want the set, so that adds up to quite a bit.

Hmm, the gold figures seem reserved for the anniversary sets, so I think it'd be odd to put one in the Advent Calendar. I approved of the golden statue of the Hogwarts Architect in the first calender, but that was because it's something straight out of the films.

Since I don't buy any of the more expensive sets (Great Hall, Whomping Willow etc.) I'm probably not going to get the Chamber of Secrets set. And the cheaper sets of Fluffy and Moaning Myrtles bathroom to me don't look that great on their own. Fortunately I think the flying lesson looks fantastic, especially on its own. The minifigures are pretty good, including a bit of the trophy room is a great idea. The stone statue and remembrall details are nice too. (I'm a sucker for statues from the films, loved the graveyard death statue and the architect in the first calender)

Just spotted a green recolour of the butter beer glass in the bathroom, pretty good version of the glasses if Polyjuice potion. I think in the flying lesson (judging by the top of the box) there's a black chest and a golden trophy. I'm guessing on the inside of the building will be a broom cupboard.

I'd forgotten we were getting a flying lesson set. I think it looks great, a nice little exterior build, which we don't get many of. Love they included the stature with two swords. Like the little broom play feature too. The bathroom set is okay, doesn't really work on it's own but will look fine in the new Great Hall/Chamber of Secrets set. There's so many leaks we might as well start swimming.

8 wasn't that fussed about the buildable Hedwig so I wasn't looking forward to the Fawkes, but I think it actually looks really good. Nice and colourful and I like how they made the perch and the tray underneath for his ashes. And there's obviously going to be a figure with it as you can see the little fawkes mould from the cmf line. I'd guess Dumbledore as the fig with him, although they might just go with Harry again.

I kind of like the chess set. But I doubt I'd get it as it'll probably cost a fair bit. Really hope there's going to be a cheaper way to get that red sweater Harry.

Yeah, I'm glad there's plenty of Chamber of Secrets details. I think it's a little annoying that we've had the Great Hall before though. I would've rather had the Hospital Wing, as that also has ties to Chamber as Harry goes there after Quidditch with no bones in his arm, and the petrified bodies of Hermione, Colin etc are there too. (also we could've had a Madam Pomfrey minifigure)

Those buildable figures sure are... Big. And... they look like minifigures. And... Honestly I don't see the point of these.

Also if people want to see what Mr and Mrs Flume look like in the film watch this video. Idk why Lego made Mrs Flume's outfit so pink.

If you mean in the Honeydukes buold, watch this video from the DVD extras for Prisoner of Azkaban, specifically at 6:53 and 8:32 there's the little automatons in glass cases that are in the Lego set if that's what you mean.

The new sets look really good. I think I like the modular building structure. The interiors look good, the statue of Salazar Slytherin is great, the Basalisk too, nice to see the Sword mould again (bit surprised were having a third new Diary design). The Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom while small is nicely designed, great paintings of Lockhart, smart to have his office on the floor above, also nicely done (specially like the signed photo print). The Great Hall is well done (cereal boxes and owl lecturn) but we really didn't need it done again. I get they wanted it for the dueling club, but I think the Hospital Wing would've been a better inclusion. This ties into the minifigures. Why is Luna here?? I would've taken Penellope Clearwater (despite we don't really see her in the film) or Ernie MacMillan who's in a deleted scene instead. And I would've definitely chosen Madam Pomfrey over Sinistra, as she actually looks after the Petrified people, these three actually tie into CoS. Tom Riddle isn't that great, but all the others look pretty good, I like the Lockhart print. Hogsmeade is a much smaller set than I was expecting. The fronts look really polished though. I still have the dvd extras of Prisoner of Azkaban (there's one bit where you can 'walk around' Honeydukes) and I'm impressed at how well the Lego designers stuck to the Honeydukes interior, they've got the cotton candy in the window, the jars behind the counter and I really like the glass display with a man having his hair done by house elves. And a nice book reference with the acid pop jar. The three broomsticks is pretty good too, moving the back room up a floor makes sense for the set, the layout is small but done well. Really like the Shrunken head sticker on the door. The minifigures again a little mixed. Nice to see a new version of Dean, Madam Rosmerta looks much better than I thought she would, McGonnagal's fine, Mr Flume they really captured from the dvd extras, Mrs Flume almost looks good but the pink is too vivid for me. Plus I wish they didn't repeat faces from Bellatrix and Helga Hufflepuff. Would've been cool if they gave Harry his invisibility cloak.

As there was a leak of the flying Hedwig mould in gold, I wouldn't be surprised if we get Golden Dumbledore with his golden owl lecturn as a Polybag. Tbh, I'm just happy were getting a golden owl. The gold minifigs don't massively interest me. Funny how the badge printing looks more film accurate than the ones in the most recent sets. I was fine with the Gold Artitect statue in the first HP calendar, but that was something from the films. But so long as they don't up the price too much they're a fine extra feature.
