So I've been interested in doing custom decals in LDD/bluerender for a while now and my first "fix" was db overriding, simple process. My only problem is actually making/finding decals that aren't bad quality (pixelated) or looks like something that was made in MS Paint. I have absolutely no artistic ability as far as drawing my own (let alone on a computer) and other people seem to have/find good quality and fairly good art to come along with it. Is there a secret I'm missing or do these people have great art skills? I feel lost.
I particularly build Star Wars, DC, and Harry Potter. I like to build the play sets LEGO either hasn’t made in a long time or ones I haven’t seen and would like to see. I truly love seeing the diorama/doll house style sets depicting a scene from my favorite movies from when I was a kid.
Hello!
I am an AFOL from the United States. I have aspirations of becoming a digital MOC creator and from many google searches on how to do so, my search has lead me here. I look forward to sharing my digital MOC's in the coming weeks here as well as my personal Flickr, which I will share when it is more relevant.
Cheers!
