MCU Spidey 2017

Well it's not really been confirmed. The only news that have been officially confirmed is Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx returning as Doc Ock and Electro respectively as well as Dr Strange playing a role in the plot. THR and Variety backed up those. Every other report like past movie Spider-Men, Cox Daredevil is just rumours Ronin, Banner Hulk(Can't call him Professor Hulk since he's just Banner in control) and Iron Patriot seen more likely Black Widow didn't really play any major role outside of the first two acts and when she died and Valkryie could appear in a Thor 4 set. As for Hulk I was disappointed that the version we got was the Quantum suit version There were rumours of the Hawkeye TV show having flashbacks to Clint's time as Ronin so maybe if LEGO ever decided to do a set for that show Ronin could appear

Lol that's more of a personal nitpick than a figure issue and that's something that could've been fixed if the figure had arm printing Lizard has been inconsistent in his comic and media appearances. In the early Dikto comics he basically was basically no taller than the average human, in modern media he's sorta portrayed as a beast and the only way to capture that detail well in LEGO would be to make him a mid-figure(Like Mr Incredible and Leatherhead), a minifigure Lizard can only work if it's strictly based on Ditko Lizard I kinda wish Armor Wars was a 2021 show. That was the only chance of getting MCU Iron Patriot but we'll have to wait And your arms look great, I could see LEGO doing this if they opt for no printing The Mr Incredible Torso piece doesn't exist??? I thought it did. Like you've said that piece works great for characters who aren't exactly big figures but aren't regular minifigures either. As for Elektra, I think her LMSH 1 design would work well with some torso alterations

Boo how we get it, you've been jerking off to the 2020 helmet and are disappointed that the classic helmet has been reused. I don't see any problem with the figure asides lack of arm printing and several comparisons with the MK 3 suit show that LEGO actually put in effort with the torso and leg print. Seems like you're just trying to be whiny for the sakes of it No offence to anyone but that's the vibe you're giving Highly likely. I would've wanted Electro but No Way Home is the only chance of getting some sort of variant of the character

Yup this is definitely one of the best LEGO Iron Man figures we've ever had with Silver Centurion still reigning. I hope we get a War Machine MK 1 from Ironman 2 and Iron Patriot from Endgame in the future Also it would be funny if we got the MK 85 and the only significant change is that the arms have dual colors with no prints on them

I had to buy an extra MK 46 just so I could use the helmet for the MK 43. Though mine doesn't really get chipped a lot

MK 16(Stealth suit), MK 25(Striker/Digger suit) and MK 40 (Shotgun) since they appeared in LEGO Marvel's Avengers and played a role in the Iron Man 3 segment. And maybe the MK 34(Southpaw) and MK 35(Red Snapper) since they have interesting features that could make for great figs I also think the MK 42 needs a remake since the 2013 fig is outdated and the visor/helmet print isn't even accurate to the movie figure. Maybe something with detail akin to the MK 43 fig from AoU(since that's a color reversed MK 42)

Exactly the red translucent molded visors and the other features being molded instead of printed face was great for Ant-Man and only needed a redesign with no open mouth area. There are customs that modify the old Ant-Man helmet to have no mouth area and they looked fine As for Rescue having the new helmet mold I'm not as annoyed as her printing would've required extra effort to create a special mold for her since she looks different from Iron Man. And yh I agree that MK 1 should've had a special mold

Yup, an accurate looking but bulky mold is always gonna be better than an inaccurate and lighter mold. I was only interested in the Square Enix red and gold suit since I personally like that design but any other fig with the helmet was a turn off And after comparing the MK 3 fig to the "Prototype Iron Man" figure that supposedly is the MK 2 there are notable differences despite the fact that in the movies MK 3 was just a red and gold version of the MK 2. So I really hope LEGO makes an actual MK 2 since I can't see myself using the Prototype suit. The only problem is that the MK 2 suit wasn't used in any meaningful role asides a flight test so I hope that LEGO revisits Iron Man 2 and recreates the battle between Tony and Rhodey

Yup plus the MCU suits have only had two pair of colors cause the visors of most Iron Man suits are either red and yellow or red with another color I thought this head was in the MK 46 fig but it was just a Mandela effect even though it would've made sense for that Iron Man to have it considering his eye was bruised for the majority of the film

Ha Hell no lmao. It feels like people who say the new helmet would work for MK 3 and MCU Iron Man haven't actually analysed or check renders with the 2020 helmet with the MCU print and are just saying 2020 is better because it's not bulky despite the fact that the two piece helmet looks really more accurate to MCU Iron Man than just printing a mask onto a helmet piece and calling it a day. If the new helmet is to be used for Iron Man, the only suit suitable would be the MK 50 since the MK 85 despite being nanotech could flip up its mask in Endgame

Out of the four figures you've mentioned only two seem likely to appear in the future. Hammerhead could appear in a future Spider-Man set since he's one of the villains not to have a fig and Jackal is basically one of the only iconic villains who lacks a fig too Bullseye can only work if LEGO made Daredevil sets so he's out of the question

Hot take: I don't like the official MK 1 figure we got from LEGO. The MK 1 in LEGO Marvel Superheroes and LEGO Marvel's Avengers looked way better and if LEGO had sacrificed some effort into creating that MK1 mold it would've been more consistent with the other MCU Iron Man figs since it has it's own unique style of flipping the helmet

I trust him to deliver cause his Raimi Spider-Man figs were amazing considering its hard getting the official ones nowadays Yeah the Power Rangers esque villain lol I actually don't mind the mold when it's used on characters like Vulture, Rescue and the Square Enix Iron Man but people wanting this mold to be the de facto mold for every version of Iron Man(both comics and MCU) is where i draw the line Also if the MCU mold does get updated in the future I'd like to see a more accurate flip style helmet where only the face raises up and the chin stays put. I had customs which had this but maybe I'm getting way too ahead of myself as I also don't see LEGO abandoning this helmet anytime soon but if Batman could get different variants of his helmet then why not Tony

I do think that the only solution to fixing the two piece helmet is to slim down the size similar to Phoenix Customs helmet since it's smaller than the official helmet. Also I think that MK 50 and 85 should've just had a molded visor without the flip function like the custom designs since those two suits didn't have flip mechanisms in the movies(The MK 85 sorta did with the nano helmet flipping onto his face but that's it) But that's highly unlikely since I don't see LEGO investing money to create an all new Iron Man mold Yeah ik was just saying that I can understand why people like the new helmet but don't understand when they say it's better for MCU Iron Man than the classic flip piece Imo the 2020 mold fits War Machine than it does for Iron Man since I liked the 2020 fig that came out

There was a MK 3 render with the new helmet and it only amplifies my issues with it. The print on the newer helmet makes his face feel too wide and droopy. Not to mention that MCU Iron Man as a figure looks immensely better when his visor detailed are molded and not just printed. I can understand the whole bulky complaints used for the old helmet but you can't deny that they capture the look of MCU Iron man better and it's not like the new helmet helps with the size issue either. The old helmet works and it's better than just printing his face on a helmet piece

MK 85 would probably just be a slightly updated version of the 2019 fig. The 2019 figure captured the details of the suit very well and the only thing it's in dire need of is arm printing on the gold arms to make it stand out I think we'll get a new print as I can't see any LEGO fig that would resemble bearded Jeff Bridges. Well according to Mini Legogo, Pepper might not even have accurate clothing to the scene that the Iron Monger set is based on. Like i said, supervillains and heroes have more effort put into them than civilian figs

Cool, I just noticed that the MK 3 is the only main Phase 1 suit to have feet printing. MK 6 and 7 only had leg but no feet printing and the MK 5 despite having feet printing isn't exactly a main Ironman suit since it only last for like 5 or 6 minutes tops in Ironman 2

And I just saw the Pepper description and wasn't shocked that she wouldn't be anything special since she's a civilian. The superheroes and villains are the highlight of this wave so far so I'd expect lower effort for civilian characters People seem disappointed and pissed but what where they expecting a pre Rescue Pepper to look like in terms of printing. I'm okay with printing being used for the major heroes and villains

Well Captain America in the 2019 Endgame sets had the new helmet and I'm pretty sure that's where the newer helmet debuted. I don't think there will be leg printing since Black Panther who is a much more detailed figure didn't even get one with his new variant

Yup for me it's the 2nd best since the Silver Centurion minifig released during the period that LEGO Marvel's Avengers was releasing That fig set the standard for Iron Man figs with it's arm printing and attention to detail I haven't seen anything and I follow the guy lol

Yeah I do hope that LEGO redoes the MK 6 and 7 armours in the Infinity Saga sets. The figs look so outdated now when compared to the MK 3 despite MK 3 in real time being older than the latter armours And hopefully a better MK 42 with printing as detailed as the MK 43 in the Age of Ultron set since the MK 43 in the movie was basically a color swapped MK 42 I personally prefer if it has curves but like you said it may look chaotic so I hope LEGO has a solution for that
