Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

To me the biggest risk of reused head for Stane would be Ben Kenobi, because it is indeed one-sided. Let's hope it isn't the case. -

You gotta keep in mind it can't be double-sided. We need bald Jeff Bridges. -

The entertainment correspondent for BBC said that he heard talks of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and I honestly think that's the best one yet. -

Oh boy back to the bickering. Falconfan is one of the best Lego Leakers out there, why do you feel the need to badger him for more info. We'll find out in due time. Fantastic Four were shot down, but no comments on my other ideas.... expanded Sanctum incoming? -

What would a Spidey D2C be? A UCS monster truck? -

Honestly, I've been thinking about it and, since we've been in a gap between MCU content, I could see the D2C being comic-based. It would be amazing to have it be an iconic building like the Baxter Building, Daily Bugle, or an expanded Sanctum. Something like that on a modular scale would be such a spectacular display piece. I know it's not likely, but BB would give us the F4 and some of their allies, Daily Bugle would fill in some Spidey friends (hopefully some iconic vigilantes), and the Sanctum could give us some more comic-based Strange content. They're probably more likely to go with the Avengers, but it's just a thought. -

Be careful, if you say it makes senses, Lego might decide not to do it! In all seriousness, that would be a treat. I hope they give the upcoming Marvel waves as much care as they give Harry Potter. -

I think the disagreements are pointless. It clearly seems to be headed towards Spider-Verse, and both Tobey and Andrew have a decent amount of evidence to back up appearances. We have no idea if they will keep that under wraps (it's Sony, so probably no) or whether the multiverse characters will be featured heavily in the initial merch wave (again Sony, so probably yes). We'll be lucky if Spidey 3 even stays in the December date considering the pandemic, so it will be a little while until any of these questions can even get answered. As Wandavision carries on, I'm sure the Multiverse plans will become a little more clear, so let's just get along and enjoy the ride. -

I'm embarrassed to say I missed part of the livestream while I was out at dinner that night. Can't get more direct than that. The wait is killing me, but I guess we'll just have to see how close to the chest they keep the multiverse stuff in marketing. -

Where was that confirmed? It’s likely with the amount of rumors that say so, but was it ever confirmed full stop? I think we're basing our speculation on speculation here, which is fine, but that definitely makes it subject to change. And yes, I know Cumberbatch will appear, we just don't know the extent... -

I actually agree. Everyone treats the Spider-Verse word as law, but all we have to go off of are swirling rumors. It seems likely it's Spider-Verse, but we just don't know how it will be implemented or marketed yet. I do have to say that if by some strange turn of events it isn't Spider-Verse, a LOT of MCU leakers are gonna lose their credibility. -

I placed an order late last night after the 3rd time B&P crashed, and it was confirmed. It gave me an order number and everything. But strangely, the order is not showing up under orders on my account, and I never received an email confirmation. Has this ever happened to any of you? Also, it's probably already been discussed, but 2021 animals that were previously sold out like the Golden Retriever are back in stock in the US. I was also excited to see the green Mysterio smoke stand piece. -
Been rooting for @toastergrl all the way on this! Great project for a great game. Glad we'll finally have another way to get a Sonic fig, and the Hardboiled Heavies are just so perfectly designed.

If they make the Statesman, I will eat a Korg headpiece. It's neither iconic or visually interesting. I think the chances of it becoming a set are second to none. The only possibility of it ever being made in a Lego set is a microscale version with the Sanctuary. If Korg is indeed from the D2C, it will be something involving the compound battle, or the Sanctuary. Those are the only options that make sense. -

In that case, what other viable options remain besides D2C? Because they're rapidly getting whittled down... -

I think we should dub February 3, 2021 Korggate, the day this forum exploded over a leaked headpiece. I have a hunch that within a month we will probably have our answer about the D2C. I still think an Endgame one is likely, but I have to say it's probably wishful thinking. It's been fun circulating ideas, and this is certainly the most active we've been on here for a while. -

The D2C will actually be a group of 30 mechs, with 25 returning characters and 5 new figures. -

If it is Endgame, they would just put the figure with the new mold into the set. Licensed parts are rarely reused for in house if they are distinctly part of a character. The piece is a little too specialized for Thing, and I can't see the F4 coming in the next few years, with the unlikely exception of the CMF. -

That's true but... 1. What D2C would a Korg poly correspond to besides something Endgame? 2. What future sets would Korg be in to justify the piece being used in a poly beforehand? -

Nope. No new molds for polybags.
