Nicely done, I really like it!

Nice set but too expensive for me. Wish they do something else in the star wars universe for a change instead of rebooting the old ones.

Built this while organizing my Lego bricks. It's 3 studs wide and heavily inspired by the Ghost from star wars rebels.

I don't know about you but this place feels like a ghost town. I hardly see any comments on posts and try my best to comment on others. Just feels lonely here. Anyone else feel the same way?

That is really cool, love how retro it is too! Great job!

Very clever build, like the idea and concept!

Very nice hover bike, i like the usage of the wings and the amount of detail put into it.

If not in the right place, feel free to move it. I know its been a while since I've built anything, but here you go. comaro concept Inspired by the Ferrari and Audi R8. Enjoy!
Side by side comparison. I know its not the right color, but i used it as a building guide.

Love it, excellent build and great representation of Judge Dred. However, i never read the comic book series but I've seen the movie with Stallone.

Thanks, I've heard of that guy and his transformers are incredible. Good idea, I have a bunch of transformers i could use for inspiration.

Not sure if Transformers are big here, but it just perplexes me how people are able to make transformers in lego and are able to transform them. How would you come by to doing this? I've heard that hinges and Mixel joints are a good use, but i am limited to those parts. I do have plenty of classic bionicle and hero factory pieces from a loot i got at a local flea market. Would those ball joints work? Guess i just have to play around with those lol.

Hey everyone,
long time no see. I haven't built anything in a while because I've been busy with college and it is my last semester. Will be graduating in May and finally get my degree in graphic arts!!! So i will be back to Lego this coming summer and right now I am looking for inspiration. Just thought i start a thread on this subject. Not sure if there is already a topic on this, if there is feel free to move it to it's rightful place. Anyway, what motivates and inspires you to build something? For me, its sometimes a piece of concept art from a sci fi game or movie and images of cars. Then i get to building at least a good representation of it or something entirely different based upon the design. Right now I have this crazy idea of combining my too loves sci fi and cars. I'm sure its been done before, but its an idea involving speed champions style but making the car wider for two mini figs. Feel free to use the idea too and lets see what we can come up with together to inspire others.

That's awesome! I like the idea of making those formula one racers into flying vehicles.

Very nice micro build! I wish Lego would make this into a set. I don't know why it hasn't yet. Oh well, Awesome job!

Very nice, I really like the idea! Wish we had a real one like that in new england ol.
-
Very cool and inspiring! Love the parts usage as well as the color scheme. Definitely a very creative build.

Yeah, good collection, definitely inspirational too.

Nice. definitely recognizable and much better than the old set. I wish Lego would bring this one back.
-
Instantly recognizable, great job!

Absolutely stunning piece of work! Love the amount of detail, it really shows the amount of work put into the building process. The greebling is well done too and very pleasing to the eye. Excellent job on capturing the classic scene from A New Hope!
