  1. Hi, i’ve been tracking down parts of the orient expedition story for a while now and know the general idea of what happens. However 2 things are yet unknown to me,

1 the purpose of the gems guarded by tygurah, the yeti, jun-chi and the one present in the mount everest temple set 7417

    2. the actual content and order of the more specific events for example dr kilroy’s encounter with tygurah as the german cd that i found a translation disagrees with the web comic etc...

any help is much appreciated and it would be great to have a complete idea of what was going on (the confusing gems in particular)

    main events

the team meet at marco polos house in venice and find a map

they go to india and sail down a river

they see lord sinister forcing babloo to work for him the adventurers then free him

dr killroy steals sunstone from tygurah

    elephant chase

    scorpion palace- gets shield

goes to mount everest with guide in the aero nomad

    shrine of yeti

    temple of everest - sword

ends up on the emperors ship

enters dragon temple through a passage (jun-chi)

gets golden helmet and finds the dragon

    disputed conclusion

  2. What about the fabuland workers from the movie- it would sell sort of like how benny’s space squad did. Also I would love to see the cake! For the third could it be another small one. We are missing the perfect houses

figures that I thought we missed would be that makeover benny and metalbeard, fabuland workers, glitter superheroes, Denny (red spaceman that appeared in the video game) etc there are many

    all speculation of course

  3. I just found out that it's official that the green grocers is being re released

    i found the following

At LEGO we strive to give LEGO fans the best possible building experience when it comes to new LEGO sets we create. But we also want to celebrate LEGO sets that have had a big impact for the company and their fans. Ten years ago LEGO released the 10185 Green Grocer and for many fans this is one of the best LEGO sets ever produced. At LEGO we have a great love for the Green Grocer and to celebrate the 10th anniversay of the set, we have decide to bring back this iconic set so fans who missed out in the first place will be able to own the set in the end. We are enthousiastic to announce that the set will not be a simple re-release, but a redesigned version. The Minifigures will have new face prints and for the model we are using new colours and parts that were not available ten years ago.

As an extra we will produce a special LEGO VIP card for fans that buy the set before the end of 2018. The VIP card will entitle all holders to a year’s worth of exclusive benefits and rewards throughout 2019! More information about the LEGO Green Grocer and the LEGO Green Grocer Special VIP Card will be shared later this year.

We’ve all seen the Creator 3 in 1 “modulars” MODed to a “normal” modular, haven’t we? But have anyone ever thought about actually MODing the official modulars into Creator 3 in 1 “modulars”? Well yes, a guy had an enough creative/clever idea of shrunken the modulars   It worked out pretty well IMO! What do you think about them?

Wow these are stunning I can't believe the fit so well. If I had a 3 in 1 I would make it modular. It would take a lot of bricks

    I completely agree!

    Couldn't agree  more.

when I first heard the name (before pictures)

i was unsure but those things are a disgrace to the other modulars

  5. I know it was a while back but when we were thinking about 2 modulars a year. The second could end up being a rerelease of the oldest modulars?

it would kill the aftermarket just like what happened with ucs  falcon. Also we could get the oldest modulars (especially gg) an interior worthy of rerelease. Along with a chance to collect them

imagine a modular supermarket it could still be greengrocer but for me it would fill the whole in the modular food production chain

gg to  bakery to restaurant to minifigures

  6. Wow just added the station to mine and put it in the cupboard with cotton wool for snow and fairy lights to light in

unfortunatly i can't upload the pics as they are to big

I understand the space issue the space I have doesn't even fit a train loop so the train is stationary

I don't have as much as you dating from santas workshop till train station but my space is smaller and all the exclusives it is crammed

you are right next year should be VERY interesting

So - With my layout I tried to do two main areas - One is the town center and the other is more of a fair area. I have the train running though it and along the front I have a winter Tram- I am running out of space so next year it will be very interesting -

Here is what it looks like before the additional of the Lego Winter Train Station and the track in the front  - I will take some more pics when I get home -

It's not significantly more modern. It would still be no later than the 1950s.

Definitely agree about it not being what I would hope for. But we all know we're all going to buy it regardless.

What makes you think it's a "sub brand"? Why can't it just be the next modular?

Because it doesn't follow traditions I just got worried

    I see them.

Weird, it'll kinda be like the parisian restaurant, then. It's not a corner building but the width of the upper floors don't cover the width of the baseplate.

Looking forward to getting the Diner (hoping it's real) and putting it next to the PR.

The pavement goes round the corner and up the stairs so it is kinda a corner

Not true. Ninj\go eries has its own theme (actually two if Movie is counted separately). NC is not modular bulding in terms of "Modular buildings line". It is conectible, it is compatible and it is modular but not under Creator Expert.

It just feels like ninjago is everywhere with versions of everything and would be ashame to associate a Lego movie with a timeless theme but everyone has opinions

  10. Just now, Blazej_Holen said:

Strongly disagree... NC is one of best sets on its own and fits into modular city perfectly if moded slightly - mostly baseplate and surroundings of river. If u dont like it, dont buy it. Your criticism is out of place. You cant criticise model just because it doesnt fit to your city or layout or whatever. If you are not satisfied with current offer, make your own buildings... :)

And AS, ...that modular is trully masterpiece on what it is. But its not the end.

It's not that it doesn't fit but more like Lego decided to use ninjago in all there classic themes and now it taking over what Lego is

I wouldn't go as far as to say it feels wrong, but it definitely looks funny.

I'd like to re-build the Ninjago City to make it mesh better with how modulars are built. Remove the weird ninja steampunk thing and turn it into more real looking buildings. There are some great ideas scattered around the set, they are just overwhelmed by things like weird elevators and needing to walk on grates to get to upper levels.

What was the leaked price of the 2018 modular?

I agree the techniques are amazing but together it is weird

In this video, go to 17:45 to hear the bit about the large Christmas model that is being designed.  He actually says that the model will be out in December.  So I don't think he is referring to a Winter Village model.  I think it is some other theme that will just happen to be released in December.

Yeah it does seem to be referencing something else mabey a set coming out in winter
