    Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

This is the only correct answer Eternals is one of my favourite MCU films, and I never understand why it gets the hate that it does, since most people on the internet act like sheep on a hate train incapable of being able to have their own opinion and voice why they didn't like it To me it's good because it doesn't feel like a typical MCU film, which is what people want until they get it, and then they trash on it . Obviously it's fine to not like something, but you need to give it a chance and form your own opinions, not just listen to strangers with a whole different taste than you QOTD: Just because my dad doesn't like cheese doesn't mean I don't too

To be fair, originally it was meant to be 18 episodes (it might be less now, I don't know for sure) which makes it the longest D+ Marvel show, so if it makes the cut for series 3, there might be a lot of ground to cover The CMF doesn't really promote the shows, it just features characters from them. The description on the website for Series 2 says "features iconic characters from some of Marvel Studio’s most beloved Disney+ shows", it doesn't mention which ones. So maybe I guess
  4. That wasn't really rumoured, more that people on the previous DC thread were throwing ideas around for what locations could appear in sets, plus Klarion was meant to be in a book but wasn't so people thought he'd be appearing in a set, so Tower of Fate was wishlisted Then a random account spawns in from Trollworld to tell everyone "Tower of Fate is coming, with Batman (obviously), Shazam (easily believable repeat), Doctor Fate, Zatanna, Black Adam (close to the film) and Klarion" and many gullible people believed it And this boys and girls, is why we don't trust strangers

If we're talking comics, hell yeah make him a big fig. If we're talking MCU he'd 100% need to be a mini figure. He's definitely not taller than Korg, and people thought he should be a big fig

I'm surprised they added Gamora Outside the What If CMF figure, we haven't had her since 2018, and it's not like there's not been opportunity to include her (Endgame final battle sets/GotGv3)

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGeSXrBMH/ It's not confirmation that it is 60s, Ben just might like trying to read old Life magazines even though we all know his big rocky fingers aren't turning any pages. But it's something more than 'the photo has 60s vibe'

Nick Fury's eyepatch On a real though, I'm surprised we haven't seen any Infinity Stone related buildable sets, like the Tesseract or Eye of Agamotto (I'd love to get the latter if they kept it at the same £60 price mark as regular display pieces)

X Mansion comes with either 3093 or 3122 pieces, depending on which source you look at I've checked it out, it looks amazing. Love how you hid the Time Stone In my head, picturing the AoU Final Battle set as being on the same type of round black base, it just didn't work for me. If this set is the church, you'd need a wide enough interior to fit enough figures including a Hulk, and I just couldn't see it looking great So yeah, my ideas were more open grounded to combine them together, because it would be a shame for LEGO to limit their sets by putting them on a black base

Rocket's ship had 1 figure, and that cost £10 more, with one new print (reused this year), plus the baby Rocket Also everyone seems to be talking about Fire Demons, is this confirmed for the set somewhere? Cos if not, I really don't see it happening I would challenge to give two options for similar type sets: Not a 'final battle' but there's one other film that could make good use of this style of set; Civil War. It could easily be done as two sets, with the second incorporating Giant Man the same way we got Sandman Figures (main set): Captain America, Iron Man MK46, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Ant Man (all new), Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon (all repeats) Build: Fold outs like the A-Force set, contains airport tower, a car (for Wanda to drop on Tony) and some airport buggies Figures (expansion set): War Machine MK3, Hawkeye (both new), Black Widow, Spider Man (both repeats) Build: Giant Man with plane wreckage Just as a side note, we haven't had an Ant Man minifigure since 2018/19 (18 for the costume, 19 for the improved helmet). Ant Man Legacy sets when? The other film, which actually counts as a final battle, is Infinity War. However there are two scenes in the movie that would fit the bill: the Battle of Titan, and the Battle of Wakanda. But a twist to make this cooler, is to do both sets, with an expansion that combines them together Set 1: Titan Figures: Thanos, Iron Spider, Doctor Strange, Nebula (all new), Iron Man, Star Lord, Drax, Mantis (all repeat) Build: wreckage of Nebula's ship, magic steps for Star Lord, portals for Spidey to jump through. Base is dark red to represent Titan. Infinity Gauntlet included with Space, Power, Reality and Soul Stones, with a secret hidden Time Stone Set 2: Wakanda Figures: Cap, Black Widow, Rocket, Bucky, Proxima Midnight (all new), Black Panther, Groot, 2x Outriders (all repeat) Build: 2 trees, an Outrider drop ship crashed into the ground, Bifrost landing sticker, roots for Groot. Base is brown/green to represent Wakanda Set 3: Expansion Figures: Thor, Corvus Glaive (both new), Vision, Scarlet Witch (both repeats) Build: tree, Hulkbuster arm, power blast pieces to represent Wanda destroying the mind stone. Base is primarily brown/green, but includes Space Stone portal with some red behind to connect to the Titan set. Mind Stone included

Close enough, but there is an arc where Loki takes the role of Sorcerer Supreme, so Strange becomes a veterinarian with a talking dog friend, it's a really good read https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Loki:_Sorcerer_Supreme No no that's Anti Venom, completely different from evil Venom Evil Venom is a bell ringer who doesn't like dancing "I'm going to get that dirt out your eye"

I know this is all a bit of light-hearted tomfoolery, but let's not act too hasty now... We don't need to bring him into this thread I think that link is a bit of a stretch, but without any new MCU films (with the one exception BrickBob's looking forward to), we don't know what the rest of the year looks like, especially not now with a Star Wars wave of memes. So it's not impossible but don't take that to mean it's guaranteed

Now that Echo's out, I have more appreciation for the figure as we've seen her costume. Especially the detailing on her prosthetic leg, a great touch The one thing the figure didn't get right, is the symbol on her right arm is wrong

i don't get why XIX is called Tiger when XXVIII (Jack) is orange and black Midas is obviously a great shout, they should've made that suit for a promotional 10 years set, like how Harry Potter and Ninjago had their respective gold figures

Fun way to get the thread talking, which suit/s (other than the Mark 4) that we've never had in LEGO would people want to see the most? I'd love to see the Mark XX (Python), for the black/gold colour scheme and Mark XXXV (Red Snapper) as its the chunkiest armour in the classic Iron Man red/gold

    Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I would hope it's the new mold with a moveable head, for LEGO to go back to the old days of big characters needing to turn their whole body like Michael Keaton's Batman would be a massive backstep I hope Rulk's design in the film is close to the old figure, and not like his recent look in the comics where he retains Ross' grey hair and moustache Don't want to get involved in the political Sabra debate, I wouldn't mind her being replaced with a different character (obviously meaning GIVE US LEADER!), but that's really just due to the obscurer nature of the character. If she stays in the film, she isn't going to be anything like her comic counterpart, and to think she would be is ridiculous. Since when has the MCU adapted anything from the comics 1:1 without changing anything? On a somewhat related note, Secret Invasion did need to reshoot some scenes to avoid parallels to the Russia/Ukraine stuff https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/secret-invasion-reshoot-russia-ukraine-war.html Ironic Due to not having the money in 2014 that I have now, I bought the older X-Jet without Wolverine, Storm, Magneto or Sentinel from eBay, then spent the following years regretting my decisions as I couldn't find the figures for cheaper than £20 each, other than Magneto (still to this day don't own those versions of Wolvie & Storm, or the Sentinel)
