Last one for a little bit.
It's not a new character, but it's almost completely redesigned from the original, which honestly wasn't that much of a design to begin with.

I have a couple more that I just finished today,
The Harum-Scarum Sanitarium- Ghost of Doctor Coffin: ( I said finished, but I do plan on adding the Monster Scientist arms with the elbow length gloves next time I place an order on Bricklink)

The Ghost That Sacked the Quarterback- Rambling Ghost:

I'm back with a completely new figure and a few updated figures.

Haunted House Hang-Up- Headless Specter:

The Vampire Strikes Back- Vampire (I finally gave him the proper hands. Not a huge change, but I know Cheese pointed it out awhile back.)
https://flic.kr/p/UeSSAX
Scooby-Doo and a Mummy Too- Mummy of Ankha (Again, not a big update, but I gave him the head from the mystery bag Mummy so that I could get rid of the headdress and make him more screen accurate.)
https://flic.kr/p/UeSRgc
And just for giggles, I actually managed to get decent pictures of my Spooky Space Kook and Ghost of Captain Cutler with their glow in the dark heads actually glowing, so I uploaded them too.

Spooky Space Kook was actually one of the first characters I made. I think he's somewhere in this thread. He's pretty simple, honestly.
But, here's an album of every character I've made from scratch, altered slightly, or taken from other customizers like BigRedCheese(That Puppet Master, for instance, is all him. I just used his idea.

So, my final piece for that figure I was working on weeks ago apparently got lost in the mail for weeks and just showed up a few days ago.
So, finally, the Witch from Which Witch is Which to go with the Zombie from the Mystery Machine set. I cannot tell you how annoying it is to me that they didn't make this figure for that set as well.

Finally got all my pieces in except one, which is keeping me from posting my final new character. Darn you, the US postal system! But, I have two new ones, an altered one, and two new accessories for previous figures.

That Headless Specter looks amazing! I can't wait to see it with a white round plate and dark red bandanna, like you suggested. I must say, I love the way you made that candle, BTW. I doubt I ever would've thought of that.
Like I said, it's a cool concept. It just doesn't work for me aesthetically because. I don't like being able to see the other face on the back of his head. I'm just weird like that.
I actually got the headless idea from another person. I finally just decided to google headless Lego and found an image of someone's custom Headless Horseman that used a black peg and a bandanna. After that it was just figuring out the pieces, which II eventually realized I already had. Unfortunately, I kind of had to pilfer them from my custom Batman '66 Mad Hatter and Bookworm. -
26 minutes ago, TheBigRedCheese said:I just used the headress on other figures. I think that the head in that set works fairly good for the Mummy of Ankha.
I should probably mention I don't actually hate the headdress. It's fine headdress. It just bugs me that he doesn't have it in the cartoon. And the head is fine, outside of the reversible face which, while a fun feature, keeps me from taking the headdress off. Luckily, the blind bag Mummy that came out a while back has almost exactly the same head, but without the face on the back.
On another note I have figured out yet another character that I've been puzzling over for awhile now. And unlike every other character I've made, I actually have all but two of the pieces I need!
It's the Headless Specter!
The only pieces I need are white peg for the neck instead of the clear one and a dark red bandanna to replace the black one.

3 hours ago, TheBigRedCheese said:So that makes for a grand total of eight figures to look forward to? Wowza. I can't wait.
I guess it is, though, not to ruin it, one of them is just different arms for my shark demon. I was never happy with the flippers(since he has actual hands in the show), but I also never bothered to get matching arms. But, again, one of the stores I was buying other stuff from had the arms I needed, so I added them to my cart. I'am also probably gonna get a different mummy head for the Mummy of Ankha because I hate that headdress.

On a lighter note: Am I correct in assuming that these 6 new figures will all be Scooby-Doo related?
Finally, I can't wait to see everything you're creating! Happy building! They absolutely are.I don't even think I've actually mentioned a couple of them on here. And now I think I've figured out two more characters, though I haven't ordered any of the pieces for them yet.

On 2/4/2017 at 0:07 AM, TheBigRedCheese said:No problem! Sorry there's no better choice for Merlin. As for SaLiC Black Knight, I think your selected figure topped off with Wickles' head will work just fine, and as for the WaNfaK Black Knight, I'm not sure but I think that dark gray would work best. Unfortunately, this is one of those situations where'd I'd recommend looking at the bricks in person, which obviously, is an issue.
So, I put in a bunch of different orders on Bricklink because I'm putting together four completely new characters and upgrading a couple others. And two of the stores I bought stuff from happened to have multiple different versions of this helmet, so I ordered three different colors because they were cheap and I was already ordering other things. I got the dark gray and metallic silver helmets in today. So far dark gray is the better one, though it's still of a bit off. I've still got a flat silver one coming in another order. I'll post pictures of all three variations of helmet and my new characters once I have all my orders in.

1 hour ago, TheBigRedCheese said:I have seen your Ghost of Elias Kingston and Witch Doctor, and they both look awesome! Nice job on jumping the purist ship! :P
Black Knight, from What A Night For A Knight! is actually fairly close to the pearl dark gray as used by TLG. Problem is that some of his parts aren't available in that color. I'm afraid that he's going to be a W.I.P. for a long while, or I'll have to change the color.
As for The Black Knight from Scared a Lot in Camelot, his armor is actually black, which makes life far easier! :D I don't know how much of the rest of him you've already got, but I'd use this feather, helmet, visor, armor, and boots, coupled with the official Black Knight head if I were to make him. Also, I'd skim this page for inspiration.
As for that Merlin, this hat is the most accurate, but sadly doesn't come in the right color. There are, however, some solutions. First up is a plain orange cone, second is a fez, albeit in a different shade of orange, () and lastly, we have this weird thing, but it only comes in red! There's a huge number of angry eyebrow heads you can choose from, but personally, I'd go with this one. Next, we have the beard, of which you have either the classic beard, or the modern beard to choose. Finally, the torso, (use fleshy hands, and either regular red arms, or some of the slightly decorated ones, like the ones that came with Captain Hook) and, last, but most certainly not least, the robes! Hope this helps, best of luck to you, and I can't wait to see your final results! Most importantly: HAPPY BUILDING! :DThanks for this. It's been super helpful, specifically for Merlin, because I hadn't really started on him yet. I did know about that blue hat, and it frustrates me to no end that it isn't red. But I'm reeeeeeeaaaaaallllly leaning towards drowning out my inner perfectionist and going with the blue one just because of how perfect it is otherwise.
As far as the Scared a Lot in Camelot Black Knight goes, I think I've basically determined what I'm going to do. I want to use pretty much all of this guy, replace his hands with black hands, give him a red feather and stick Mr. Whipple's head inside the helmet.
And when it comes to my What a Knight for a Knight.....knight, if I were just looking for a quick fix for now until I had a better option, which color helmet would you say is likely to match better with the rest of him? I'm obviously going to use this helmet, but I can't decide if dark gray or light pearl gray would match best. Or is there another color that would be better than either of those? -

The link to the piece you're looking for, that PepperoniBricks was talking about, is right here.EDIT:
Silly me! Forgot to mention how awesome that Red Beard is. I'm working on "fixing" The Black Knight ATM, but I don't really have any other SD guys in mind. I've been focusing on superheroes and villains for a while now.EDIT X 2:
Also, I'd only swap him over to pink legs if there are some brown booted pink legs out there. :P Otherwise, he looks great as is.Thanks! I have my lulls, but I'm always trying to think of ways to make more Scooby-Doo villains. I'd been wanting to make Redbeard for a long time, but I couldn't find a body I liked. Then I saw Captain Hook and knew I had a winner. I also posted a thread with a couple of non-purist versions of the Ghost of Elias Kingston and the Witch Doctor that you may not have seen.
I'd love to see the end result of your Black Knight. I've been trying to piece that one together myself, thanks to you.
I'm also trying to make the Black Knight and Merlin from Scared a Lot in Camelot.

I think the head the official Black Knight comes with would make a good head for the SaLiC Black Knight, but I'm still working on finding a good chest piece. -
5 hours ago, PepperoniBricks said:Not bad. There's also a red-hair neckbeard piece that would leave the mouth revealed, which could work on Redbeard.
Seriously? I was trying to find one that left the mouth exposed and I could not find one. Do you have link to Bricklink for it?

10 hours ago, Darkdragon said:Those look great. The robe colors are a little off on both, but still recognizable on what you were trying to do. Did you make the robes/coats or are those from third party sellers?
Thanks! I got them from a seller on Bricklink called Cape Madness.
https://www.bricklink.com/store/home.page?p=dingraham#/shop?o={"showHomeItems":1}
I would have preferred something a little closer in color, specifically for the Witch Doctor, but they only had select colors for different pieces.
But, I'm also going to order some sand blue arms and legs for Elias Kingston. I think that will match a lot better and differentiate a bit better between his clothes and his skin. -
I recently made two classic Scooby-Doo villains.
The Witch Doctor and the Ghost of Elias Kingston. Normally, I try to stay purist but I found it impossible with these two. I'm overall pretty happy with the end results, but if anybody has any suggestions on how to improve them I'd be interested. I'm already trying to figure out a better color for Kingston's arms and legs.

Okay, so I'm not sure if I'm blind or stupid. I made two more Scooby-Doo villains, but they use custom cloth pieces, so I know not to post them here. Is there a non-purist TV/Movie thread like this that I'm not seeing or do I just make my own thread for them? Sorry if this is super obvious.
