I'll definitely be joning this later, let me whip up a fig and a bio... Put me down for STEELs!

I was wondering when you'd show up in this thread!

That tramp! I cannot believe her infidelity! Great MOC, I love the stockade-door roof and the stable area especially. Makes me wish, too, that I had gotten the Queen Leonara minifig...
-
That's a pretty swanky farmhouse. I like the use of the lion moldings especially.

Wow guys, way to back out... I'm still on for this, God Iron, but as I said before I think this should be made into a discussion topic, with the RPing in a seperate thread. It's just cleaner that way.

Gladiator aka Deadlocked, yes? I personally liked that one (the more FPS-y one), but the 1st one remains the best, as oft happens with videogames. AS my friend put it, "Ratchet and Clank is a great game to look at and pretty fun to play."

So true. I had forgotten about Space Port, and yeah that's true.
-
I love Insectoids to death, for some reason that's beyond me, but like Blacktron they really didn't have much story. Does anyone know what other Space themes were around at the same time as Insectoids? I thinlk that would help with integration.

At first i was miffed by the mix of Dark grey and DBley in the floor, but then I realized it was intentional. Veeerrry nice! What's up with the crazy beggar's arm?

MOC: NYPD - Picking Up The Pieces - 14th Street
Steel Dragon replied to Zepher's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As a Zombie MOCer, I recognize this as being a great depiction, especially when you consider it's roots in WWZ, of aftermath. Those tan log pieces are sandbags, correct? The turret is great, and the buildings are spot-on. 5/5, kudos, props, and I can't wait for 3-15! (we need a zombie emoticon *hinthint*) -
Hello everyone, I'm back with a challenge! Would anyone like to try and make: -Decals to turn a brown horse into a paint horse -Decals to turn a black horse into a zombie horse, and -Decals to turn a white horse into a zebra ???
-
Awesome truck! I love the ":action shots"... One question though: I can tell it's intentional and it does look nice, but what's the rationale of the yellow-orange medley on the cab?

Great old sets, Not-so-great tight budget...
Steel Dragon posted a topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I have certain restrictions in place when it comes to my Bricklink spending, suffice to say I can only buy from US stores and I have a very limited budget. My question to you, loyal EB friends, is: Is $489.25 a good price for ten classic sets, all without boxes but guaranteed otherwise complete? The sets are: 6246 Crocodile Cage, $13.54 6145 Crystal Crawler, $4.99 6079 Dark Forest Fortress, $123.50 6264 Forbidden Cove, $24.23 6071 Forestmen's Crossing, $69.35 6277 Imperial Trading Post, $163.40 6020 Magic Shop, $7.84 6254 Rocky Reef, $17.10 6248 Volcano Island, $16.86 6075 Wolfpack Tower, $48.45 All minifigs and parts are supposedly included, but as said before no boxes. -
Great old sets, Not-so-great tight budget...
Steel Dragon replied to Steel Dragon's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
This is really more of a spur-o'-the-moment thing, in that I haven't been getting parts together. I already own Magic Shop and Crystal Crawler, but they aren't together and would take a looong time to assemble. I might split the cost with my brother, too. But it looks like I'll just be buying these separately, over time, for better prices. -
This is a caption contest? Related: Tank-Lady is great!

Well I'm not too fazed by the lack of box, because I'm really just looking for the set to play with and add to my layout... although I understand that an open box can mean an incomplete set, I'm not too worried. I'm also limited to stores in the US, so taking that into account... I'm about to make a seperate thread in BS&T, so you could retort this there.

Slizers - Bionicle - HERO Factory forum?
Steel Dragon replied to vexorian's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Well, that IS what they are... as was said, original Bionicle carried the Technic logo, and Slizers were always marked as Technic. -
I don't have much to add that hasn't been said except my own WOW! The whole thing is just amazing, especially the lounge. A few questions: does the Elevator actually slide up and down? Do the elevator doors work? Have you PLAYED with this enough? (hint on that last one: no) Again, awesome job!

Good lookin' so far, Dan! The mix of styles is great, and very realistic. I like the skyscrapery adaptations of what I assume to be Town Plan... yes? Fun fact: one of my Town/Zombie Hunter characters is named Nikki!
-
Just a quick question on this: is $163 reasonable for this set, complete without box? Or should I wait for a better deal?
-
Sarcasm? Or I'm just terrible at gauging tone over the interwebs. Is God Iron still on board with this? Because I've run stuff like this on other sites before, so I could take over.

What is the funniest things you have heard said about Lego?
Steel Dragon replied to Sisco's topic in General LEGO Discussion
This killed a small part of me . Every Lego gluing is two more unMOCable bricks. -
Slizers - Bionicle - HERO Factory forum?

"Technic Fantasy Themes"? "Technic Story Themes"? "Other Technic Themes"? New name ideas. PS, Slizer/RoboRiders was AWESOME. -
[MOC] 3179 city repair truck's granddaddy
Steel Dragon replied to lisqr's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This, it made me laugh. Great work! I just think it could use some more color variation. The brown is kinda too dominant. Good stucture though!
