  1. People getting butthurt and dramatic over a fun lego minifigure forum game? Now I've seen everything.

Bring on the finals, Itaria. I too checked the poll regularly and almost every time Scarecrow was leading by more than 2 votes. Only after dozens of votes Elf took the lead and it was either a tie or 1 vote lead by either of them from the on. I think Scarecrow deserved the victory. Satyr will win the finals any way.

I honestly would like an explanation from some people for why they voted for the Scarecrow/Don't like the Elf. The Elf can't help that LOTR just so happened to come out a year later. If a Scarecrow-centric theme had come out right after the Scarecrow, would you all have voted for the Elf using the same argument?

    Yes. Yes I would.

I don't think it's necessary to break down pieces and details - Elf is simply not unique except for his yellow skin. There are about 20 elves from LOTR/Hobbit and all are extremely similar to the S3 elf, of course with better torso printings. When I look at the Elf, I see "just another LOTR elf, except worse".

  3. Ninjago is ruined. It will never be the same. Yeah, it's pretty much over now. I mean, how dare the creators change the appearance of characters after 7 years of them looking exact same way? Unforgivable! /s

Boo hoo, their looks changed a bit. Why should anybody care? Last time I checked, they're still same characters with same histories, and the story is canon to the show. How exactly does this make the show worse? If anything, it makes it better since all the characters (except Kai maybe) had generic Lego hairpieces. The change just makes the characters more unique. Nothing illogical about this. (I mean, not like Ninjago isn't illogical enough already...). Nya's hair? She grew it long. Lloyd's green eyes? He got an extra power which made his eyes glow. Kai's scar? He got sliced in a battle. Zane's skin? He decided to paint it yellow. There you go.

I think people hate the change because the characters now resemble ninjas from the movie, and you know, there's also this insane (and immature) hatred against the movie for some reason as well. By the way, the movie also looks pretty good and it will be interesting to see how many elements from there they reuse in the show.

  4. I feel like this is the best Lego set ever, and I couldn't care less about Ninjago right now. No matter where you look in this chaotic build, you'll find something impressive. It has tons of unique building techniques like we've never seen before, it looks great, it has 18 minifigures, it's massive, it's modular, it has a large selection of both good parts and new parts, it combines elements of City, Ninjago, Arhitecture, Creator, and every big action theme, + it has tons of amazing references to forgotten themes in Lego's history. The ultimate lego set.
