rosalind14 Posted March 23, 2014 Haha, that Morph is spot on! I love your Longshot but I'd perhaps put a happier face on him....he's lucky remember!!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Thanks rosalind14! I was thinking perhaps Luke's head from Star Wars, I'll have a few trial runs and see how it goes. Dr Leg O Brick Posted March 29, 2014 My first non Marvel, Zenith, the superpowered teenage brat, hailing from 2000AD. Zenith. I made the "Z" from cutting the 1 out of a takeaway menu. Hopefully he'll be improved in the future, although I'm pretty happy with how he is. As I realise this guy isn't exactly a-list, here's a link to the costume I based him on: http://revistaogrito.ne10.uol.com.br/jazzmetal/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/zenith2.jpg
rosalind14 Posted March 30, 2014 Great Captain Britain!! Love the use of the Olympic torso And your Dum Dum is spot on too!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted March 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks as always! I've made a squad of five SHIELD troopers to pile on to the SHIELD jeep (The agents drive in style, Nick's green flying car.) Dugan follows their uniform apart from the chest plate with the four pips and extra ammo, so expect my squad soon. And I'm glad you like Britain, I was thinking about making the female Captain Britain using the Gymnasts torso from the CMF Olympic series as well. Up next, more stickered torsos and an annoying Government Agent! Edited May 5, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Dr Leg O Brick Posted March 30, 2014 (edited) I'm back! Gyrich. Cyclops. Ant-Man. Hawkeye (Sorry about the dust). Hawkeye V Cap (their not dancing, honest). Feedback would be great! Edited March 30, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) So, a few more. I would sincearly love to here any feedback you have, good or bad. Whether you want recipes, advice, here a story about how I made them, anything, just ask! Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 2, 2014 (edited) Some new figures! Iron Patriot... AKA Norman Osborn, or the Green Goblin. Pre Siege. Post Siege Triathlon (I took some "creative licence" on his costume) Vision X-Men: TAS Bishop EDIT: Some more, as I didn't want to post four times in a row: Moondragon Cloak Namor the submariner (An improved) Scarlet Witch Feedback is always welcomed! EDIT 2: More figures! Lots of figures with boots. (pictures of Bullseye and Punisher will be up soon) Wonder-Man (Safari Jacket) Battle damaged Spider-Man Eric Masterson Thor EDIT again, my Avengers teams: Cap's team. Luke Cage's team Black Panther's Stealth team. Hyperion's cosmic Avengers. Enjoy! Edited April 3, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) (Sorry about the blurriness) The Wrecker Piledriver Thunderball Bulldozer The Wrecking crew EDIT: One more, The Blood Brothers I took some liberties but as I had the parts spare I thought I'd might as well use them. I've been considering using some LOTR parts to make them more accurate. Enjoy! Edited April 10, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
rosalind14 Posted April 10, 2014 Very nice job! Love the group photo.
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 10, 2014 Thanks! I'm particularly pleased with the Wrecker, the sneer on his face is something I immediately associate with him, if only they'd make the crowbar in grey, I may have to fix that...
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 11, 2014 More figures! US(less) Agent. Based on his motorcycle costume he had in the early 2000's. How useless gets his shield. I've found this design is perfect, only two parts and you have yourself a round shield similar to Cap's official one. Black Bolt, still working on him but posted him for a friend of mine. Kulan Gath I'm thrilled with his hat. 100% purist, it's a Stormtrooper shoulder cape. Nimrod Improved Captain Britain. Really happy with the torso now. Cap's boots Enjoy! rosalind14 Posted April 12, 2014 Great Black Bolt, shame Lego don't do those "wings" in white. Your "improved" Captain Britain is so much better even tho I thought the original was spot on. The new torso and legs make it. And a super Kulan Gath too....love how you did the hat, genius!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) Thanks as always! According to Bricklink, the arms are now available in magenta, brown, dark brown and black. I've considered painting the fins, I might just leave him as he his though. With Britain I knew I had to make a new one when I found the CMF Olympic Boxer torso in my spares. I've used the huge boxing gloves for an upcoming custom, but with the torso, perfect I thought. Then came the problem, I tried blue legs and he was too blue, tried white legs and he was too white. That's when I decided on the boots, took an hour but well worth it IMO. Kulan's hat is something that I'm really, really, proud of. Sounds stupid I know, but it's the first time I've made one of these "rocks into replicators", I took something and used it for a purpose completely opposite to it's original purpose. It was at first a search for something to cover his double sided head, but, well action's speak loader than words. The pic I used for Gath's hat: http://img4.wikia.no...Earth-8591).jpg And what I used as reference for his head (Mandarin's was perfect I thought): http://img1.wikia.no...arth-37072).jpg Edited April 12, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 12, 2014 Stingray Cloak and Dagger Moon Knight Enjoy!
rosalind14 Posted April 13, 2014 That's a great Cloak and Dagger! Lego really need to produce a better assortment of female hair....I have the same blonde cut on my Meggan and I'm just not that happy with it. It's either that or the one with the hair going over the shoulder....I swear that 90% of my female heroes go to the same place for their haircut!!! Good Moon Knight - could you cut some black stickers to go on him instead?
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 13, 2014 Thanks! Even worse with the male figures, they all look like Bruce Wayne! Jean, Dagger, Nocturne, and half a dozen others have the same hair... Moon Knight's a tricky one, I was thinking of using the same method of adding on eyes onto a black head as I did for the Panther and an upcoming black suited Spidey, but I don't have a white hood. To cheat, at least till I get a white hood, I based the costume on this: http://www.themarysue.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Moon-Knight-First-Costume-White-Shirt-580x293.jpg I'm very pleased with his crescent shaped weapons. Haha, true but at least they look better! They have a few more styles going on! He looks fine without a white hood tbh but I know what you mean, I'd have him with one. Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 13, 2014 I'm in a relaxed Dr Strange mood today after reading some Steve Ditko Dr Strange comics, so why not make a few customs? Nightmare The Ancient One Baron Mordo (work in progress regarding the head) The Dread Dormammu! Enjoy!
rosalind14 Posted April 13, 2014 Haha, loving The Ancient One!!!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 14, 2014 Thanks as always, I at first felt his beard was too big, compared to the original, but, after taking the photos, I feel it look's great! So, I'm on another custom spree! I'd love to here feedback, both good or bad. The Mad Thinker and his Awesome Android Andy D'Spayre (An improved) Major Victory The Black Knight, with his horse Aragorn! (The original, evil, founding member of the masters of evil version) The Black Knight, dismounted. In flight How I constructed the wings. Please excuse my double jointed tumb, turns out it's quite handy at handling flying miniature horses. I'm thinking of posting Aragorn in a seperate thread as it is in a way a small MOC. Any thoughts on that? Enjoy!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Well, I'm planning something big out of Lego. While I've got some time spare I thought I'd add three more! Odin Dark Beast Mandarin Henchmen. Not based on anything expect my own imagination. I needed some redshirts for Iron Man to kick around and to fly the hardware in the IM3 sets. Enjoy! Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 16, 2014 And some more, Wolfsbane (credit to rosalind14 for the idea) Torgo (missing his pugil stick at the moment, soon to be amended) Bullseye Shellhead improvement (I added boots to my original) Punisher (he needs a few guns or military grade hardware, like Torgo soon to be amended) Enjoy!
