DLuders Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) Congratulations, Egor, on your great Lego Technic set! There are some nice details in the 41999 BOSS Crawler. What will "Egor Design" think of next? Edited June 30, 2013 by DLuders

zux Posted June 30, 2013 Rm8, thanks for interesting review! I was wondering if you have full size photos, wish to see few more details.
DLuders Posted June 30, 2013 @ rm8: Could you post larger images of the 2-page Parts List? Also, do you have a Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf file of your 41999, so that we may possibly "recolor" the upper body shell?
Freekysch Posted June 30, 2013 Awesome set, i really really like it !! It is on top of my wanted list ! And great review too !

Anio Posted June 30, 2013 Curious, I have only one printed tile. It is "EK #### of 20000". But I do not have "EK 41999".
DLuders Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) Thanks for those Parts List images, Egor, but could you provide a link to LARGER images? The part numbers are very fuzzy when I try to enlarge those pictures -- thanks! Edited June 30, 2013 by DLuders

DLuders Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) you have to download fotos from webalbums Please don't stay up too late tonight, Egor, but which web albums can we find the large images? When I click on the Parts List images above (or in your Set Review), the size is exactly the same.... Edited June 30, 2013 by DLuders

DLuders Posted June 30, 2013 @ rm8: It seems that the "Download Photo" option on your Picasa Web Album webpages is not enabled, so one cannot see the large 3612×2662 pixels images. All one can see are the (undersized) images. Are your photos "protected" in some way?

DLuders Posted June 30, 2013 @ rm8: Thanks for your patience; please don't lose any more sleep. I still cannot download the full-size pictures. Maybe your "Download Photo" button is enabled because YOU are the author of that Picasa Web Album. I can view the (undersized) images "Full Screen", but the Lego Element ID numbers are still quite fuzzy. When you have time tomorrow (after you get some rest), could you enable this feature? Thanks....

Pedro Antunes Posted June 30, 2013 Love the box design
Balrog Posted June 30, 2013 Very cool. Thanks for the review. I hope I can get one of those sets.
SNIPE Posted June 30, 2013 I like how much PF stuff you get, how the doors stay closed, the levers in the cabin and how the body, boot and doors open.
Balrog Posted June 30, 2013 The door lock is indeed simple, but very effective. I guess this method will be used in several MOCs soon.
colinrichardson Posted June 30, 2013 That was a great presentation- it must be hard reviewing your own design. Do you think that it will be possible to gear down the winch so that it can pull with a bit more force without slipping?
rm8 Posted June 30, 2013 That was a great presentation- it must be hard reviewing your own design. Do you think that it will be possible to gear down the winch so that it can pull with a bit more force without slipping? It is useless, cause clutch gear is the last gear in the winch = always hight torque = always slip at load:) but winch is not useless;)
Darth Dino Posted June 30, 2013 Hi Well, i am a bit confused, having the 9398 purchased recently. And now this thing... First: Gratulation Egor, well deserved, very well done! As you are, i am surprised too, that Lego do not change their MRSP, althought there are more parts, and those not only pins. Leds and motor for free! I am wondering why Lego do not sell this just as a modding kit? For those that already have the 9398. I am totally nsure what to do, already looking for ways to get my 9398 away to buy his beauty. For sure this willbe a iconic car for any Technic lover. Good chassis, rare colors, nice design, exclusive, the box.... endless reasons to buy this ;) Do anybody know how many sets each countr with S@H will get? dr_spock Posted June 30, 2013 Congrats Egor. Thanks for the review. I haven't purchased 9398. This looks like a better buy. Will it be in Lego Stores or is it a Shop@Home only?
jadedomg Posted June 30, 2013 I can't wait for this set to come out, I plan to replace all of the red beams with black or grey. It will be one of the sets that I will keep together that is for sure.
