MOC: Time for a rest!

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow EB members.

A small vignette showing a mid century streamline truck in an Octan livery.

The driver stops for a well deserved break!

Well built. The shaping definitely fits the 50s aero look well. The dark green and dark red go well together on the lorry.

Oh wow! I like the use of 1x1 quarter circle tiles to evoke the Octan logo, and you did a brilliant job with the streamlining. The brick-built whitewall tires are also a great touch!

Thanks @Feuer Zug. I could possibly of been more ambitious with shaping if I'd ordered more bricks but just went with what I had.

Cheers @Aanchir! I tried to incorporate the Octan logo tile from the corner garage into the side but couldn't fill the gap so the logo came about as a second choice, glad you like it!

Thanks guys! I had the original Octan sets from the early 90's when I was a child so the colour scheme evokes great memories!

The 50s style is perfectly outlined with this truck with rounded shapes!
The use of dark variant of green and red  gives even more depth to this masterpiece!
Magnificent!
