What a wonderfully detailed scene! As I scrolled through the pictures, Adagio For Strings started playing in my mind

Love the despair of it

Thank you I based this moc in some paints that caught my eye for that theme, I can only imagine the circumstances and those persons must have suffered deeply.

I feel honored to have made you imagine that song, it must mean the moc transmits some of what I intended it to.

I am planning on building more from this theme and era, so there might be other pics in the future.

It is a horse leg, actually on the retreat it is calculated due to heavy snow and therefore the loss of vegetation, the majority of horses died of starvation at a rate of 1000 daily, the army turn to eat them.

Great brick-built skies in those recent vignettes, @Niku!

Thank you very much Evancelt. I find the skies in paints very interesting.

Marshal Ney Last Words
Soldiers, when I give the command to fire, fire straight at my heart. Wait for the order. It will be my last to you. I protest against my condemnation. I have fought a hundred battles for France, and not one against her… Soldiers Fire!

Marshal Ney abandoned By letting himself be caught, he has done us more harm than he did [defecting to Napoleon] on the 13th of March!

The near-unanimous conviction and death sentence were agreed by the Peers around midnight as December 6 became December 7, and the Bravest of the Brave led out near the Luxembourg Garden that very morning to suffer the sentence passed upon him.

Super cool build, @Niku! I love the texture on the wall behind the Marshal... looks like this wasn't the first firing squad to visit the space :pir-blush:

Thanks a lot @evancelt, I tried to give hints that there was already a history with the place.
Glad you like the build. :pir-sweet:
