Elephant Knight Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) Yup. Got another one coming. This is what happens when I don't build a new boat in a year and a half. I just start building them back to back to back, non stop almost. I've also had a decent amount of free time. This current WIP is a pirate ship, going off of the colour scheme of the Cross Bone Clipper. It was my first Pirate boat, so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. Fraunces Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 @Elephant Knight I also love the colorscheme you use, in honor of the old set. I would only say to watch the captains cabin: isn't it becoming to round? Quote
Roadmonkeytj Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 I would tend to agree ... The rear wall should have more slope. The green black looks good I remember the crossbone having green inserts ... Have you done the swap trick? Excited to see what you come up with Quote
Elephant Knight Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 (edited) Thanks! It really is one of my favorite colour schemes to use. I have such nostalgia for that set. Yes, I did do the swap tick for the hulls. Opened up a lot more possibilities for this boat. Round cabin is actually the style I was going for. The ship is actually now down, been done for a while. I want to redo some sails at some point, I made them too narrow. EKnight Edited December 13, 2019 by Elephant Knight Quote
