Lego GBC Lifting Cup Miniloop

Recommended Posts

This Miniloop has a "cup" attached to a lifting arm (the mechanism was inspired by Akiyuki) It can be powered by a motor or a hand crank, it is also very very reliable.

I have free instructions here.

Nice little display piece, or easily part of a big setup. I really like the arm and it's range of motion, I might steal that idea from you in the future...

Thank you! If you want instructions they are here.

Nice one sawyer! I've always liked the bendy liftarm modules like this and Akiyuki's 6 head.  You may have inspired me to build a smaller module with this type of lift as well!

Thanks! This smaller version is good because takes a lot less power to run :-)

That's very nice, such a simple way to index the balls into the arm, works very well. Does it deal with more balls backed up behind?

Thanks! It can handle one more but any more than that and it won't work properly.

Would love to see a version with several of those arms going at 1 time, but just slightly out of phase from each other.

4 or more would look sick, almost like 4 fingers taping on a desk in sequence.

Thanks! Akiyuki's original module had 6 larger ones.

Thanks for the instructions - now built but got stumped at the last page when I couldn't find a blue Lego rubber band.
Eventually use 1mm elastic cord and now working great.
