KS_Josey_Wales Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I'm not sure where the best place to post this would be so feel free to move it if you think this is inapropriate, anyways here is a picture I made of Emmet. It's done in an art (or craft whatever you want to call it) called quilling in case you are wondering. It's essentially just paper twirling and pasting it all together in patterns that look nice. deraven Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Wow, that's really interesting! I think you've captured the essence of Emmet nicely. It kinda makes me want to try making a similar piece in mosaic/collage style using various Lego elements. It's always fun to see other AFOL's creative interests- Thanks for sharing! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 That is really, really good! Curled paper, you say, how long did this take? Quote
KS_Josey_Wales Posted August 22, 2014 Author Posted August 22, 2014 That is really, really good! Curled paper, you say, how long did this take? Off and on I worked on it for a month in my spare time, proabably somewhere around 20 hours of solid work. Quote

Lyichir Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Someone introduced me to this style of art when I was at Family Camp this summer. I passed on making one of my own in part because I didn't know how well-suited it could be to things I enjoyed like Lego, and now I think I missed out! This is absolutely gorgeous! Quote
Jody Meyer Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 this is a great, lots of nice detail. Quote
