BrickLink Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Hello Eurobricks! My name is Alex and it is a pleasure to meet everyone. I am from New York City and also an employee here at BrickLink. I have been crawling around Eurobricks for quite some time and always enjoyed all the great MOCs and LEGO talk. I especially enjoy following the Guilds of Historica and hope to even participate someday (leaning towards Nocturnus!). I thought it would be nice to have a bit more of a BrickLink presence here on Eurobricks. This is entirely informal but I will try my best to answer any questions that come up regarding BrickLink. I will be keeping an eye out here so I hope to get to know the community well here. I will also be posting some details about a winter holiday competition that BrickLink recently announced so make sure to check that out if you would be interested in a building challenge! Anyways, it would great to see you participate in GoH but you should join Kaliphlin instead because Kaliphlin has oil and gold! I totally agree that the current site is in great need of an update. I want to let everyone know that an update to the original BrickLink will follow after we get the MOC Shop up and running. We will be exploring new features on the MOC Shop and through those experiences, we will overhaul and introduce a new but familiar BrickLink. Welcome! Then again, Nocturnus has an interesting environment and could use some more people it seems like. My advice is to just stick with it! At first, BrickLink can be a little overwhelming but once you get the hang of wanted lists and dealing with sellers, you will find it to be quite addicting ;-) I will be happy to help you later once you decide to plunge into. Feel free to PM me about it or start a topic and I'm sure I will see it. There also seems to be a wealth of resources already here!
