legoman19892 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) Flock of seagulls. Herd of cows. Quiver of Cobras. ____ of minifigs. What should the group name of minifigs be? I think it should be plastic. A plastic of minifigs. Edited July 29, 2014 by legoman19892 Quote
samurai-turtle Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I thought it was collection of minifigs. Quote
Artanis I Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 That would be herd of cows. I probably say bunch. How about "a clutch of minifigs"? Quote
TheLegGodt Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 When you look at the examples of Legoman it appears to me that the word used can also be used as a verb i.e. cobras quiver and cows heard together. That would disqualify 'plastic' although 'collection' would work right? We need to think: what do minfigs most distinctively do? Here's my thought: an ACT of minifigs, because minifigs can ACT like they can do everything since they can be made in the likeness of anyone. Quote
CptPJs Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I immediately thought of a huddle. That's because mine are currently just dumped in a bucket... Quote
AmperZand Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 If you can have a murder of crows and a comedy of errors, why not something abstract but illustrative such as a happiness of minifigures? Quote
CamelBoy68 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 According to recent calculations, there have been over 4 billion minifigs* produced, making them the largest population group on the planet, so my suggestions would be: A domination of minifigs An epidemic of minifigs An infestation of minifigs I for one, welcome our new minifig overlords.... * Source National Geographic :http://natgeotv.com....lego-facts.aspx Quote

That's a LOT of Minifigures Quote
DPrime Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 That would be herd of cows. I probably say bunch. How about "a clutch of minifigs"? I like clutch. Best answer so far, imo. :) Quote
ShaydDeGrai Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I'd go for a "Troupe of Minifigs" as 'troupe' is the proper term for a group of mimes and since my figures don't talk but do tell stories by striking poses I think it's the best analogy. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 A bucket of minifigs A handful of minifigs Quote
rodiziorobs Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Fun topic! Of the suggestions so far, 'clutch' is probably the best, although 'happiness' has a nice ring to it. Here is a site with a list of amusing animal group names, and I think that both of the above names fit in quite well. Quote

Lyichir Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I thought it was collection of minifigs. I agree that a "collection" would probably be the best term. Quote
fred67 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Floggle. A floggle of minifigures. Hey, baby, Let me show you my floggle. Or kerfuffle. A kerfuffle of minifigures. At least that's an actual words. Quote

eurotrash Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 A Clutch of minifigs sounds good to me also! Quote
rollermonkey Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 By dictionary definition, the collective noun 'clutch' refers to bird eggs... I'd prefer one that isn't already associated with something else, So, I'm going to throw my support this way: I vote for a click of minifigures. Click? Clique? Anyone? Quote
