Rail Co Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Hey Guys I am wondering if anyone knows a good shop (Online) that sells lego trains (Mostly 9v and PF) for a good price other than Bricklink and a Lucky eBay find? Thanks so much -RailCo Quote
JopieK Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Hi RailCo, that is a question that is very hard to answer: first of all, since you don't say where you live we don't know what is local to you. I mean, in the Netherlands I would say A-Tembo as a normal store or Amazon.de as an online store (since they ship free or almost free to NL and taxes and prices of LEGO are better in Germany), but maybe you are in NZ or something like that. And for 9V, there are some people that do sell them, but a local marketplace is probably the best place to look. Quote
Rail Co Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Sorry I should of Specified I live in the USA, I am looking mostly for 9v trains as I have almost all the PF trains (other than the new 2014 City trains). I got into the hobby too late to get 9v . I Need To know if there are any online stores for 9v trains (motors, sets, etc). Thanks JopieK :) -RailCo Quote
legoman666 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Keep an eye out on eBay and you can find good deals. If you have a large budget, there are folks who occasionally sell huge lots of train and track that sell for less than the sum of their parts. I've built up my train parts collection by purchasing large lots then sell the track, motors and the occasional complete set to fund the entire purchase. Quote
1974 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I doubt you'll find a real (or even internet) shop that stock 9V trains, that stuff has not been made in ages.. There's only BL (and what's wrong with that place, it's the biggest LEGO venue afterall) and evilbay/CL The cheapest way to get 9V trains/parts is to join your local LUG Cheers, Ole Quote
JopieK Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 And of course the ME Models tracks for 9V layouts! Quote
Rail Co Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 Yes I am looking forward to their 9v line! Does anyone know when their track will be available/in stock? Quote
