HorcikDesigns Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Hi, here is my first try to build a Volksrod in Lego. I don't hope that you'll like it, I know it is not good. ;) Full album: https://www.flickr.c...57645884048103/ It uses the same front axle and motors (servo and 5292) as my previous Hot Rod (WeirdCab - on EB: http://www.eurobrick...95#entry1936214 ) But the WeirdCab followed in time after disassembling this ducklin'. :D Quote
Doc_Brown Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Reading the title, I had no idea what this was, but now I do! This is awesome, just a few more tweaks here and there for the body work should be sweet, just the top view really. I really like the front bonnet and I can definitely see the shape there, great job. barman Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Wow, that looks great. Good job on the shape of the body. It's very recognizable as a Beetle. Looks very sporting. Quote
Boulderer Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I like it. I've always loved the VW shape in custom vehicles. I think that stems back to my youth and my desire to own the 80's Tamiya Sand Scorcher RC car ... Quote
piterx Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 looks really nice, maybe all those white bits on the hood are not convincing me but the overall look is cool! Quote
