El Bucanero Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 (edited) Hi, Mr Beatledude, welcome to the Pirate forum. What makes you think eBay isn't safe? I bought several sets from eBay, and everything arrived... Just check eBay or www.Bricklink.com. If you want to buy it new, there is not so much on eBay. And from bricklink you'll only find new ones for ridiculously high prices...( not less than $200 anyway..) I found a new one for $700+ once! Oh, and some tips to improve your posting style: You shouldn't make double post unless it's really neccesary( like when the thread is more than 4 months old and nobody you made the last post) There was like fourteen minutes between your first post and the second one, you should wait a bit longer before double posting. And try to tone down the smiley use abit. ;-) It makes the post a unorganized. Just trying to help you! Mr Tiber Edited June 4, 2007 by Mr Tiber
snefroe Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Hey anyone alive? please well this set has been out of production for a while, so the proper Lego channels won't get you, nor mum anywhere. 8-| :'-( more over, this set is, even when it's the legend, which is a rerelease of this set, highly popular, making it fairly expensive for mum's wallet. In fact mum may just get a heart attack when she sees what this baby costs these days... the obvious choice would be bricklink: to make it easy for you: the cheapest one , second hand, would be 160 dollars a new one : 292.50 dollars... now go tell mum, but make sure she's sitting in a chair or on the ground would be even better, and only tell her when she's in a very good mood... :-P

Bricklink or eBay would be the best places...Mr Tiber and if you're hoping that anyone here would be willing to sell you a BSB at a ridiculously cheap price, let's say 100 dollars, then i'm afraid you won't get all that many responses... let's say zero :-X

El Bucanero Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 (edited) Ok but mabye you could send me a Ebay link to a thing because my mum hates Ebay Your mum hates eBay How come? May I ask how old you are Mr Beatledude? Anyway, here's a link to a very shocking one! This one's cheaper. But if you want to buy this you have to be quick because this auction ends in less than two hours. but I live in the UK and i will have to Transfer my money to Dollars then send it and theres the worry of them not sending it Like i bet the Police wont do anytihng... :-/ So Tell me why its so "Safe" :( It appears you know nothing about eBay dude... You can also just send the money by bank transfer, and there would be no need to transfer the money to dollars. I do it all the time. And I believe the Police will certainly do something. If eBay hasn't done it yet that is... I wasn't saying eBay is ultra-safe btw. It depends alot on yourself, if you choose to buy from someone with a feedback score of 0 %, than you can expect problems... Besides there's also an eBay UK... snefroe Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 i moved his topic he started about the BSB in the community to the buy sell trade forum, so maybe you guys should just close this thread. we've answered the question, and if somebody is willing to sell him a set, well, then there's the other topic in the BSTF...

Governor Mister Phes Posted June 4, 2007 Governor Posted June 4, 2007 Thank you Mr Tiber and snefroe1 for attending to this thread. May I advise any users who feel compelled to use may smilies in their post - DON'T because it gets annoying. One or two smileys per post is usually more than enough. Do not write in uppercawe and order other users what to do because that's very rude. New users are guests in our forum and we expect them to behave. We will treat them with respect if they treat us with respect, if not we will remove them from our forum. This thread is an example of what happens when a user is disrespectful.
