Hi,

This is my entry for the Mini Model Competitions 2014, this is my first MOC on heavy eauipment model.

Feature :

- Total 164 parts.

- Modern design in a simple way.

- Smooth track movement

- 1 functions : movable plow (up/down)

The tracks, and the cab, and the plow look good. Maybe you can use the extra piece count to create some sort of body between the tracks and the cab where the engine and transmission would be housed. By the way, what is the one function? I dont see any linear actuator but I see a knob on the roof.

Yes, this model is a bit futuristic, the first idea that came to my mind is a snow-track-racer.

As describe in the rules that at least 1 function must be provided, than I add a plow which has a moving function as required.

I think this MOC has already a proportional size, so I thnik the number of parts will remain the same.

The knob on the top will provided a swing motion to push/pull the push-rod, and the push-rod will push/pull hte plow up and down.

This is a very simple mechanism that will suite into a small technic model like this (with small space to put gears inside).

Thank you. This parts helps so much when we need a curve shape in a design.

I like the use of the 5x7x0.5 and 3x5x0.5 liftarms with quarter ellipse to form the cabin. It works quite well here. I like it.
