lyonfish Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) it's my creation :) LXF filehttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxrzke8CWxGnNGJ4c0J3YkotT2c/edit?usp=sharing ( The picture has been slightly proceeded by Photoshop. ) Edited June 11, 2014 by lyonfish Quote
Calabar Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Very good model, detailed and well done. Does the decoration has been added with a image editing software? Surely the MOC will be moved soon in the proper section (take a look at the section rules topic). Any chance to share the lxf file? Quote
Renderbricks Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 NICE! You have a LDD file for a render test? Quote
lyonfish Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) Thank you all for appreciating my work. although I think it's not so perfect. LXF filehttps://drive.google...dit?usp=sharing Edited June 11, 2014 by lyonfish Quote
Superkalle Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 There was some discussion in the Swedish LUG forum that the model actually isn't very well modeled after the original, even though they say so in the TLG promo video. With the LXF at hand....anyone care to mod it to see if it can be done better? (image courtesey of AndersI) Quote
DanFraser Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Could be a bit more work than one would expect. The slope of the front and rear windows needs to probably double, the side skirts are waaay too angular at the wheels and those bucket seats need replacing with little folding seats. The snotting needed could be crazy, who's up for the challenge? Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Here a POV render of lyonfish's lxf! Had to guess a little with updating the red rally version in LDD! Quote
Andrew Harvey Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I'd like to have a copy of that lxf, but when I click on the links I get: Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I've got a copy of the lxf file made by topicstarter. (plus some addings and changes..) If TS is willing to give his consent i'll share them here. Quote
BrickDafki Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 oh my... I love your digital(re-)creation! Building a rally and a track version was the first thing that popped up in my mind when the first pictures of the original set surfaced! Now you make me wanting it to build even more. It's a pitty that the piece for the wheel arches doesn't seem exist it many colors Quote
Jim Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Nice work guys! I really love the red rally version. There was some discussion in the Swedish LUG forum that the model actually isn't very well modeled after the original, even though they say so in the TLG promo video. With the LXF at hand....anyone care to mod it to see if it can be done better? (image courtesey of AndersI) Looking at the comparison image, it does have some flaws. Quote
CCarmichael89 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Please re-share your lxf file as the red rally mini looks amazing and I would love to have a look at the extra details that aren't on the official release. Thanks Quote
jack85158 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Nice work, expecting the LXF file as well. Thanks Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 (edited) Still waiting for consent from TopicStarter..\ For all of you waiting; here's another render.. Edited July 27, 2014 by JunkstyleGio Quote
Boulderer Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I'm not convinced that the comparison image above is actually a MkVII. Can anyone confirm? Quote
CCarmichael89 Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Any chance of the LXF file soon, as I'm trying to design a trailer and an internal armrest and I think I've mucked up the scale of the trailer. Render looks really good. How do you do renders? Thanks very much Quote
