Who's got Benny's Spaceship put together already?

I realize some people managed to get their hands on Benny's Spaceship (SPACESHIP) a month or two back from overseas but here in the USA official release was just a couple days ago. Mine came in the mail today, haven't started it yet, not exactly sure when I will- I just like looking at the box right now.

Can anyone tell me if Benny's helmet comes pre-cracked? I ask because in all the box artwork it is cracked EXCEPT one place in the corner that seems to be an image of all the mini-figures included where it is not cracked.

I've been going through my large collection of legos that had been lost and found in a garbage can sitting for 10+ years at my Aunt's house, requiring extensive cleaning and I just found my first original Benny-style space helmet yesterday, albeit in yellow... and it is cracked in the very same spot. I guess it was one of the reasons that style needed the re-design.

Well I don't have the Spaceship, but I do have Metalbeard's Sea Cow.

The piece is molded with the center bit of the chin strap 'cracked'. There is no need to take some pliers or anything and crack the piece for an accurate look!!

I got mine two weeks ago at the St. Louis Missouri Lego Store.

Also, Benny's helmet is molded cracked, as in it's a fake crack - not really broken.

Just bought my Spaceshipx3 last night at Toys'R'Us here in the States. Stayed up until 1:30 a.m. putting it together. I haven't put the stickers on yet, though.

Also got mine a few weeks ago from the LEGO Store; never hurts to ask, I suppose! I've enjoyed modding it with more trans elements, and have more of the new spring missiles on order.

I got mine as they were putting them out at my Lego store, it had to be 2 weeks ago. Benny's Helmet isn't actually cracked. It is just molded to look cracked. So it will look whole when viewed from some angles. It's a fake crack and is actually much stronger than the real classic Space Helmets.

I looked at my box and yep, you're right. Weird. I wonder what that's all about.
