Paul B Technic Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) My latest MOC project has been a float trailer for 42006 C model bulldozer. This has been designed to be towed behind the Unimog U400. This measures 59cm long by 21 cm wide and 17cm high with the ramps up. I spent about 5 hours over a couple of nights designing and building this. My original plan was to use the rear PPTO of the Unimog to lift and lower the ramps, after testing this I decided to change this to use the small LA. http://paulstechnic....06-c-model.html Edited May 14, 2014 by Paul B Quote
Paul B Technic Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 Thanks for the feedback, this will be my last MOC for a little while as I am going to spend some time making changes to the Unimog. Quote
Paul B Technic Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 Hi Paul, what changes are planned? Pat I am looking at changing some cosmetic features and changing the front steering. I am also thinking about some new attachments. Quote
Zerobricks Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Good trailer, but I would make the front axle wider. Nice manx btw :) Quote

Paul B Technic Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 Update - 19/05/2014 Following some feedback and advice I have now made some changes to this. It has been made shorter, the front tool box has been removed and the front wheels have been removed, now replaced with a folding stand. http://paulstechnic.blogspot.com.au/2014/05/moc-float-trailer-for-42006-c-model.html Quote
