Hello All!

Today I want to present small but funny model. It is reduced prototype of my future project – Rock Loader Mk II (first version was built in 2011, and I was short of parts at that time - http://www.doublebri...2/rock-loader-0).

All functions have manual control.

- rotation

- boom rising

- boom extension

- bucket unloading (with lock for heavy weights)

- outriggers

Control, counterweights, exhaust

Extended boom, Bucket lock

That's a great model man and it has so many functions. I love your outriggers and I am keen to see them in action.

A bigger scale with motors etc would be fantastic.

Thanks all! I am glad you like it!

The ropes are for decoration?

At the first time i've placed the ropes because i didn't reinforce upper part of boom with liftarm. But the bucket isn't so heavy and main boom didn't bent. So i can say that the ropes are for decoration but it isn't entirely true :)

Thanks! Unfortunatelly outriggers moves only horizontaly and the model doesn't rise under the surface. I can't do this feature in this scale. But i hope in a full-scale model this feature would be work! But this project will take a few monthes...

Do you have some way to limit the travel of the turntable? I imagine that it would be rather unstable if the bucket got all the way around to the back.

That said, it's a beautiful little model.

Thanks All!

nice build, very compact. yes it's "very stable with outriggers"

Thanks! In the first place the stability is provided by counterweights - there are four boat weightbricks in it *oh2* Outriggers are more for decoration than for functionality...
