pihlbrick Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) Hi all - I've mostly been hanging around the SW-forum, but decided to build a delivery truck for work - I work at the largest chain of builders merchants in Denmark, and wanted to display some LEGO in my office. Posed view Side view Rear view And Head on The front wheels turn, and is connected to the steering wheel inside the cab. Here is a small pic of an actual truck for reference Now I can't take all the credit for this build - I was heavily inspired by Lasse D and his Scaniafor the cab/front of the truck. I'm building a City-scale version to display next to it. Edited May 6, 2014 by pihlbrick Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I do like it,but I think the cab is just a shade to high. Quote
TinkerBrick Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Nice MOC. I second Alasdair - compared to the real cab your seem a bit to high/the skirting hangs a bit low. What do you think about switching the crane beams to liftarms? Quote
pihlbrick Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 What do you think about switching the crane beams to liftarms? I have no idea what you're talking about :) I have to agree with you on the height - sounds like a rebuild at one point :) Quote
Paul B Technic Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 This is a very nice looking model, I agree with the comments above regarding the cab height. Quote
Lasse D Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) It is great to see my old Scania design still being used. I really like your models. If you want to update the cab, then I do have a new design (building instruction here: It should be easy to make the top flat instead of high. Edited May 9, 2014 by Lasse D Quote
