Zerobricks Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) This is a very simple light beam sensor made with only power functions elements and some normal bricks. The delay between the actual blocking of light and motor reaction is due to PF protocol. I suggest you to use a servo motor, as a normal motor is stalled in closed position and can overheat. TinkerBrick Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Brilliant! I would have thought about this kind of use. So simple in some ways, my first thought would have been mind storms to accomplish this function. Quote
ManInATopHat Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Holy... That is impressive. Would look awesome in a Star Wars Moc or something. My brilliantly devious minds must now set to work on how one could incorporate this into a real build... Quote
kieran Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Novel use, well done, wonder how long the batteries will last in the remote Quote
