1nxtmonster Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) A little work in progress I started recently. I decided to marry together two of my favorite projects, the LPE and the Oshkosh HEMTT 8x8 trial truck. I'm going to power it by a portable air tank and long air hose. I could use regulated C02 and have a onboard tank (a 20 oz paintball tank), but my tank is running low. HEMTT: LPE: And some progress: Edited April 7, 2014 by 1nxtmonster Quote
gregorijs3kivi Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 cool, i want to build lpe crawler to, when i get parts Quote
Doc_Brown Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Your LPE engine is good, does it have enough torque to power 8 x 8 HEMTT? Quote
nicjasno Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 The LPEpower i3 would be powerfull enough. It does over 2000 rpms and does not flex or bend. Quote

nicjasno Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Your engine would be faster if it would not bend so much. Much power is lost that way. Quote

MrNumbskull13 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Wow, it's as fast as one of your RC motor crawlers and still peeforms great! Quote
1nxtmonster Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Very impressive! Brick_Sticker Wow, it's as fast as one of your RC motor crawlers and still peeforms great! Thanks! It was a ton of fun to build and drive. Quote
