Fissl Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone! Today I want to show you the tracked steer loader I've built. It isn't modeled on a real one, I just tried to keep the proportions ( more or less... ) Of course it is remote controlled via PF For driving I've used two L Motors (no subtractor.....) For lifting the boom(?!) and the bucket there are two M motors. enjoy. Edited March 2, 2014 by Fissl Quote
BiohazardRacer Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Nice work looks quite accurate Quote
KirTech LAB Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Cool loader! I think the cab looks a little dark - maybe you can exchange some black parts to more bright, yellow for instance?... Quote
unimog123 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Great job! Would it be possible to fill in the space behind the cab with yellow panels or liftarms? Quote
piterx Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 lovely :) i might do one as well one day...but with wheels :) Quote
Zerobricks Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Good work I especially like the use of so many small grey wheels for track support. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Very clean Moc! Great job. I really like the proportions too. Quote
Fissl Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 maybe you can exchange some black parts to more bright, yellow for instance?... I had the same idea while taking the pictures I think I will replace the seat to a blue or red one. Great job! Would it be possible to fill in the space behind the cab with yellow panels or liftarms? sadly I don't have the right panels It look great! More photos, please :) I allready took some more pictures but first i want to edit them in photoshop a bit. I'll upload some more next week. @ all thank you for the kindly feedback!!! Quote
bord4kop Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Looks real great! Nice one, I am looking forward to more pictures Quote
technicfan Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Very cool do you have any instructions for this?. Quote
Fissl Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Finally I had some time to replace the seat by a blue one and take some more pictures. I didn't make instructions yet, but if there are some more people interested I would make a LDD-file. Quote
Pat-Ard Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Hi Fissl, your tracked loader is great! I would really appreciate instructions or a lxf file! Pat Quote
Fissl Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 hey! now I've finished the lxf file! feel free to build and improve Quote
Zerobricks Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 One question. Why didnt you use normal pins to hold wheels instead of 2L axles and bushes? Nice work on the LDD. Quote
unimog123 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Interesting setup, nice job on the LDD file. Quote
Fissl Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 One question. Why didnt you use normal pins to hold wheels instead of 2L axles and bushes? I've used the 2L with bushes, because normal pins would have touched the tracks in the middle. Quote
Pat-Ard Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Hey Fissl, thanks for sharing the instructions... Pat Quote
Fissl Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Thank you guys. Has anyone rebuilt it yet? Quote
Fissl Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 No I don't. But you can delete the 2 L motors and the batterybox from the LDD and then use the "export to BOM" function. Quote
