Title says it all.

My favourite is definitely Episode VI, I love everything about it (exept maybe Yoda dying :sing: ) and even though the Ewoks were complained about, I just think they're more reasons to love the movie :classic:

Least favourite: Episode I. Why? Jar Jar, Prequel, Darth Maul, Jar Jar and it just doesn't have the character the OT has.

What about you?

My favorite's a close one....I've watched ESB a lot recently, and I really really enjoy it, but ROTJ has some of the best and most iconic moments in my mind. I'd have to give it to ROTJ.

My least favorite is actually AOTC. Young annoying Ani and Jar-Jar I can deal with. Teenage angsty Anakin and Padme...not so much.

I wish we could count the Clone Wars, ooh I love me some Clone Wars.

My favorite must be Episode 6. Hands down, there's nothing about it I can even pretend to dislike, in fact, it did to me what the other movies couldn't, it surprised me. When first watching it, I thought the Ewoks would be adorable little idiots, but no, to my surprise they actually played a vital role in the battle on Endor. All the scenes on Tatooine actually pulled me in for this movie. I initially hated Tattoine, and I'm still not sure JJ Abrams will pull it off successfully. The planet was always kind of abandoned and lifeless, Episode 4 made me like it a bit more, but maybe the lack of water to a Floridian was kind of a set back. The movie also had great acting and the effects were on spot. Nothing like that hideous slug that was so evidently a puppet (or something, so maybe not so evident, but still) that attempted to eat the Millenium Falcon in "Empire Strikes Back". This movie was also the one that made me ache for the comics, I've read very few, and I'm not going to wait until Marvel starts next year, what I've read so far from Dark Horse has been great, and I honestly don't think I would have ever bent over backwards for the comics if it weren't for this movie.

And for my least favorite, I'd say Episode 1. Jar Jar was not something I couldn't live with, and at the same time, he's not someone I loved. I didn't really mind his appearance at all. But Episode 2 gave me some excitement, and Episode 3 was great with showing the transition from Jedi to no Jedi (as a whole, at least) and I was actually quite bored in Episode 1 and other than Darth Maul, no one in the movie stood out, plus the acting was very terrible. Even then, Darth was seriously underused and I didn't ever really appreciate him until the Clone Wars. Hopefully Rebels can live up to my expectations.

My favourite is IV, it's the first one I watched, and I always have find memories of it. As for my least favourite, probably II, mostly for Anakin. I quite like the Phantom Menace. I think we all look back far too fondly on the originals though- they were innovative in their time, and pretty different, but they're not that much different to the prequels. I look at it similar to how UK people view Doctor Who- the Doctor you grew up with is often your favourite, regardless of how good he was.

In order!

1) ESB

2) ANH

3) RotJ

Used to be number 2 but in my older years I appreciate ANH more and fine the "twist" of Leia being Luke's sister kind of a lame attempt to duplicate the Darth Vader being his father from ESB. I also don't really like Ewoks in my older age.

Then the prequels fall somewhere under movies like Trolls 2, Gigli, Catwoman, etc.

ROTS (III) hands down. Other than a slightly fast fall for Anakin (which was easily rectified by watching CW and TCW). It had it all, from the epic battle of Coruscant, to the moving Order 66, and the tragic Duel on Mustafar (excluding the one swinging on ropes bit). No Gungans, no Ewoks, no whiney Luke or Anakin, no podracing.

Next would be ESB, but a future reedit needs to improve the Battle of Hoth, (controversial I know) though fantastic for the time now it looks a bit disappointing and the threat of immediate peril isn't as evident

I would probably say The empire strikes back is my favorite. Then maybe Revenge of the Sith or Return of the Jedi? RotS is okay. I hate Anakin though but I love all of the Jedi. So probably Return of the Jedi. My least favorite would have to be phantom menace because the only cool part is the duel at the end. Also because they totally underdeveloped Darth Maul. He could've been a lot cooler but he was only in the movie for about 5 minutes total. I also dislike a new hope. I've just always found it boring..don't hate me.

Episode IV by far. Saw it in the theater on release weekend back when it was still simply Star Wars. No Ep IV a new hope crp. Simply Star Wars. I was 11. It changed everything about the movies.

Least liked? Tough call between Ep I and II. Ep I commits the cardinal sin of an adventure movie. It's mostly boring. Outside of the Pod Race and the music there is virtually nothing memorable about it that isn't groan inducing. I mean we remember Liam Neeson was in the movie, but as side from his interactions with Jar Jar, remembered because we hate Jar Jar, what else comes to mind? Ep 2 has better high points. But the low points are just so awful as to almost overwhelm them completely. "Sand! I hate sand!" "I killed them all!" Whine whine groan.

ESB is the best movie. Clones is the worst

EP1 feels more like Star Wars to me than the rest of the prequels + and it has a number of great moments. Clones is just boring through most of the run time that's not helped by the terrible 'love' 'story'

I actually completely agree with this. Time has (hopefully) softened the hatred toward TPM a bit; it's not up to par with the OT, of course, but still an enjoyable film.

My favorite: A New Hope

Least Favorite: Attack of the Clones

I have no least favourite Star Wars movie or most favourite in my opinion. But my list goes:

In order of like to watch

ROTJ

ESB

TPM

ANH

ROTS

AoTC

I don't really hate the Prequel Trilogy one bit, and at tmes prefer the Original Trilogy more than the PT. But I find especially The Phantom Menace in my opinion, still a entertaining and watchable SW movie to watch full without really getting bored. I also find Darth Maul the better Sith in the Prequel Trilogy and the EU, next to Vader and the Emperor. But no character in both trilogies and EU I find more interesting than the other apart from being I thiink equal in their each unique way.

Favourite- Empire Strikes Back (Epic scenes, story, dialogue, the twist, amazing effects-the list goes on )

Least favourite- The Phantom Menace (Mainly due to Jar-Jar and the not-so convincing acting. I would have also liked Anakin to have been in his teenage years)

My favorite is Empire Strikes Back, I don't think I even need to explain myself.

Least favorite is Attack of the Clones by far, while I still enjoy certain scenes, like that guy trying to sell Obi-Wan Death Sticks, It's not enough to justify the forced love story and wooden acting.

Favorite-

A New Hope-unaltered (yes, I'm one of those guys. I can't stand the revisions meant to "enhance" the classic films). No other movie can come close to giving me the feeling that A New Hope gives me after it's all over. The rush of excitement, adventure, romance... My parents tell me that I used to watch it over and over-quite literally. They would have to rewind the tape once it was through playing and start it over for me.

Least favorite-

Attack of the Clones. I hate the whole of the prequel trilogy, I really do. And I was born somewhat close to the prequel trilogy generation. But as the years passed by, I started noticing all of the leaps in logic and the horrible, horrible flaws. This one takes the cake though. From the sterile and emotionless battle scenes to the sterile and emotionless love scenes, it's completely unwatchable.

I have a slim amount of nostalgia for the Phantom Menace. I hate it, sure, but there's at least something going for it. And it was hard to choose between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, I despise both so much. But at least Revenge of the Sith has a great screen presence in Ian McDiarmid. His performance in ROTS is the only thing that's fun to watch in the entirety of the prequel films.

And also might be the only OT revision I approve of.

Up until a few days ago, I'd have said ROTJ, but now it's probably tied with ESB. Least favorite is definitely AOTC. Hayden Christensen's attacking makes it unbearable.

I must be crazy, but is probably Episode 3. BUT I am noticing the first prequel's CGI is aging badly, I can easily see it... And the oiginal trilogy is so damn cheesy...
