JohannesESTONIA Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Hey, I wanted to share my latest MOC with all of You! The Trike MK II It's a fast and really good handling three-wheeler. Has front and rear lights, driven by 2 L-motors, steered by one servo motor, power comes from 2 AAA battery boxes. Been building it for awhile, but I'm pretty pleased with the outcome! Here you can see a lot more pictures: And ofcourse a video: And I'd be really happy, if You can give me some feedback:) It doesn't even has to be positive :D Also, if You have some more questions, than I will try to answer them all! JM1971 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) Each back wheel is powered seperately, thats something I wanted to do on my ATC moc but never had room to fit it in, neat bike you have there. Edited January 10, 2014 by JM1971 Quote

Jep, there are two reasons for the seperate motors, one is that I didn't have room nor did I want to add a differencial in there for handling and the other is that, one bb and reciever doesn't have enough power for 2 l motors. 750ACE Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Do you have a MK1 version? I noticed quite a few people adding mkII to their moc titles which means second version right? Other than that, great job on this one. Quote

But yeah, it was built in 2011 and I had alot less experience back then and also alot less pieces. The video is in estonian, but you can see the model itself, hope youu like it! Quote

I tried the AAA battery box on a 41999 that has a extra set of lights, everything seemed the same as with the AA box, that set has a V2 receiver though and I never tested it for very long. Hmm, I also use a v2 receiver, but maybe the transmission has to be fast for the power control to kick in, cause one receiver and bb wasn't enough for this Trike. Quote

In theory the AAA and AA boxes should have the same power its just the AAA wont last as long, depends on the circuitry inside them I suppose, I have asked around in the past but no one seems to know for sure, your trike could get up a good speed with the low weight so its a shame one AAA box cant power it all. Yep, they should but in my experience they aren't. Quote

ms09 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Neat shape Hopefully Lego TLG would also consider a motorcycle set with PF. Quote

JohannesESTONIA Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Well done, thanks for sharing. Thanks :) Quote
