Merry Christmas everyone, and a Happy New Year!

I'm very pleased to present instructions to my 1932 Ford Hot Rod from the popular demand that I had for them.

I have been working on these now for about 3 months taking up most of my free time, but I am very very happy with the results. These are truly unique instructions made from the 450 photos I took using a 200mm lens,

with the camera touching the ceiling on a tripod. This creates the very nice near isometric look that I wanted, to make it clear to follow visually in each step.

These instructions are available for $16US from MOCplans.

Parts list is at rebrickable, but PM for a brickstore list.

I'm really excited to see what mods/customs creations people come up with!

So you took pictures off every phase, that would of taken a very long time, but looks great! When I am in the mood, I will take up the challenge of building the Hot Rod. Man Moc plans is great, I like the way we are protected from piracy issues

Good day, Merry Christmass and Happy New Year!!! Doc Brown, Congratulations for a great creation!! I own about 40 original lego technic sets, but have never built a moc so far.. I bought your instructions for the hot rod and then I tried to find the parts list at rebrickable... never used rebrickable in the past.... i have some problems when trying to get the full parts lists, let me explain: i am at rebrickable.com, at the hot rod page. i am adding to the bricklink wanted list and then it takes me to the bricklink website, where i have to verify the parts list. When on the bricklink website, i go through the parts list and instead of allowing me to upload the list into my account, it always gives me an error, saying that 3-4 parts are not identified in the uploaded file, and i have to correct them.... What do i have to correct????? how to correct it???? i have tried several sets, even official technic sets, and it always gives an error, that means it is not allowing me to finally upload the parts lists and thereafter identify the vendors, etc.... i am sure i am a little bit off topic, but would appreciate if anyone could assist, or prompt me to the correct topic, where such subjects are already analyzed.. Thanks in advance for your replies, and am grateful to be part of the lego technic community...!! Happy New Lego Technic Year to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi legotechnicyiayia

Thank you for your message, and thank you for your purchase. Happy New Year too!

I understand your problem, and will try to get a solution to you as soon as possible, but im not too familiar with how the brick-list works on bricklink.

I do have a brickstore list I can give you maybe i can upload it here. :)

Opening brickstore, you can then export a bricklink wanted list that works from my testing.

I will admit I have never used wanted lists or such, so if anyone else knows how to do it better please jump in! :D

Cheers.

The errors are with these parts. I will try to update them on rebrickable.

71874 - 2x2 radar dish inverted - black ( part number should be 4740)

x1979 - technic panel #13 - red (part number should be 64394)

X1980 - technic panel #14 - red (part number should be 64680)

x1979 - technic panel #13 - black (part number should be 64394)

X1980 - technic panel #14 - black (part number should be 64680)

Ok I tried to update but still produce errors.

Lucky these are pretty common parts.

Every MOC I checked had at least one error.

Solution is once you have your list copied, paste into notepad and find the 5 errors listed above, by pressing "ctrl + f" searching their ID's

you may not have all of them depending on your inventory.

delete the problem parts from the list taking care to maintain the "code" format.

once they are deleted copy the whole file in notepad and paste that into bricklink then verify.

if all goes well it should work.

then you will have to add the error parts manually to your wanted list.

Happy Shopping!

It did work, thanks! Although I do have most of the parts needed to build your moc out from my official sets, I don't want to spoil any of these, and want to buy new parts, that's why the hassle.. for some stupid reason, I like and tend to keep the original sets in their own suitcases (even though broken apart)... Anyways, thanks again

You're very welcome! I'm very glad it worked out.

Sweet! I guess they got my message and corrected it.

Just realized there is no diff in the list! I'm puzzled how it isn't there, just thought I would let you know to add one if you don't have a spare.
