Hi there Eurobricks,

I'd like to show you my latest creation I built for Legoworld Utrecht. It was part of the Lowlug Castle lay-out.

Even though time pressure has effected the endresult, I'm very pleased with it.

Enjoy!

Pictures of the entire lay-out can be found here wich is worth a view.

Thanks for your attention.

Wow. Great castle and great layout.

For the former I say hats off to you to a successful defeat of the time-pressure. Looks great. Excellent shape and way to anchor the end of the display.

For the latter - I love how each scene on the table had its own shape - like a little island. Really helps the viewer's eye flow and makes the overall layout that much more appealing. I prefer that to the "Wall of Bricks" approach. Bravo. Less is more.

Excellent shape! I love all the curves you have in the walls and the round tower. My favourite thing on it is, that you did the coloured roofs. I'm not a huge fan of large gray castles with black roofs... so colourless. You just showed how awesome a castle can be with red and blue roofs .

Lovely castle, I like that it feels a bit more old school than what is normally built now  I especially like how you incorporated curved walls and round towers into the design. The buildings inside are also excellent :classic:

Thanks for the compliments!

Wow! I really like the interior buildings, they have a very medieval feel to them. The curves are astonishing! How did you get the curve?

by bending the bricks. Here you have a very cool website about it.

Great layout!. I spy a MOC by Ecc.. Your contribution is great! Is the tower in the back built using the technique ZCerberous showed a while ago?

If ZCerberous used a technic chain with plates attached, yes.

Ecclesiastes also made these pictures. The rest of us was holding the cloth high.

Really cool castle  I like the colours you used, gives it a very classic castle feel :classic:

Thanks! that was exactly what I was going for.

Nice but weird rockwork... Like the round towers, looks similar to the castle on Big Medieeval Landscape...:)

I take that as a compliment, but the two biggest inspirational influences for this castle were Jalkow and Aliencat.

Nice! I really like the rounded shape. I'm just wondering how you did that.

And do I spot a dutch flag on top?

Of course there must be a Dutch flag.
