Lord Vladivus Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) So I got to display a module in a local indie toystore, but I didn't get a chance to take any photos at the actual event, just a couple at home right before I left.Check out my Flickr for a few more (bad) photos! Captain Settle Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Congratulations on getting to display this at a store! I like the hill, and the small wooden pier. It may have been better with some water effects on the baseplate, but since its a collaborative build your water might not have matched up with someone else's, so fair enough. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 Yeah it was a mainly pirate display with a little castle/fantasy, with all the water modules on plain 32x32 blue baseplates unfortunately (that and I don't have much in the way of blue bricks!). I want to try water effects on a smaller scale first as well. Quote
kabel Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 that's a nice little GoH mash up, I really like it! Quote
de Gothia Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 A lot of action going on in that small moc and I like that! :) The moc itself is really nice! Keep it up! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Cheers DG. There was a lot more action, I had several Hand of Corruption soldiers, but looked too crowded, so I swapped them for the Black Knight and his Cyclopean bodyguard! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Cool to see each guild represented in one build and I like the mix of dark tan and tan in the landscape The angled plate works well too Quote
gazumpty Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice work displaying in public...I love the high action feel to this build :) Quote
